Spanish Games Called Music Empty Spanish Games Called Music

Post by Satoshi Veach Wed Feb 13, 2013 8:29 pm

Sitting in the class room waiting for someone who is hopefully a guitarist to come and help me with my song, I find myself already at the piano before I can think of anything else to do.

I had already set up all of the instruments and recorded all of the parts to it so I got nothing better to do than wait.

The sleak, wooden cover of the keys comes off and I find myself playing a song I had stuck in my head for a while.

An older American song by a band my oldest brother got me into.

*English*"Look into my eyes
I am the one who you despise."

It eventually gets midway into the chorus on the second time through before I hear the band class' door click.

Yuriko walks in, a guitar case strung on her back. she closes the door with an audible click.

"Hiya Satoshi-kun!"

She makes her way over to an unoccupied stool and sits, setting her guitar at her feet.

My voice quits singing but my hands keep playing-

"Evening to you, Yuri-chan."

-eventually screwing up kind of bad and stopping all together after playing as many keys as they can all at once.

"You can play guitar?"

I really need to order another pretend chart from imagination land soon.

I glance at her case.

'No, Satoshi, she just uses that to carry around her drum sticks!' I'm an idiot.

She giggles as she unzips her case and pulls out a shiny Ibanez Cherry-Sunburst Acoustic/electric guitar. "Mhm. I started playing when I moved to California with onee-sama." she checks the tuning before setting the guitar back down. "So, what'cha need me to play?"

Don't say it-don't say it-don't s-

"You're really something aren't you?"-FUCK-I SAID IT!

My hand rubs the back of my head and my face scrunches up.

"Eeh, sorry."

I take off the fedora I'm wearing and hand her a sheet of paper. Sketched upon it is a part for an acoustic guitar.

"I'll give you time to learn that."

Suddenly remembering how it takes me a little bit to study a piece of music and be able to play it well I add more.

"You can mess it up as many times as you want. I don't mind redoing or editing in a part that couldn't be done in the same take."

I also remember how I have a better time learning music if I know what it sounds like.

"Here, this isn't exactly a clone of the part but it sounds a little like this."

I start to play the different sets of guitar part on the piano.

"There are many pauses but other parts make it sound more fitting."

She looks over the music she was provided with a few times before laying it out on a stand and playing the music with a few kinks and some missed timing. "Hm... give me a few hours and I can play it at full speed."

I kind of want to play the piano more if I'm going to wait that long but instead go to the computer to continue editing the parts of the song into their correct places.

"How's life treating you?"

I don't think some conversation could really mess her up all that much while she memorizes the part.
