(Open) Buzzed shopping!

After the small gathering with the guys Yuuji finds himself in the store buzzed from the sake they all drank earlier in the day
Its always 4:59 somewhere, and all worth it!
He gets a paper listing food items for the party for Rachel We ran out of cooking supplies since I made breakfast for the both of us but this time we got this!
"O-okay lets see where everything is f-first."

Sayuri is busy shopping when Yuuji enters the store, her basket already half-full of groceries. After her previous visit to the store, when Yuuji had had to carry her groceries around for her, Sayuri has used her initiative and brought along a length of cloth unceremoniously torn from an old dress she had been meaning to throw away. She has tied one end of the cloth through the metal bars of the basket, and the other end around her own neck, thus holding the basket in place and preventing it from toppling off her lap whenever she came to a halt.

Sayuri notices Yuuji enter and quickly realizes he is not his usual self. He seems rather more blissful, and slow-witted. Sayuri has never observed someone under the influence of alcohol before, thanks to her previously sheltered lifestyle, and does not suspect that this is the culprit. Instead she continues her shopping, casting wary glances in Yuuji's direction every so often. I wonder if he's okay.

Yuuji peers at the list putting it uncomfortably close to his face
"First on the l...list is eggs....O-okay I-I'll get that last whats next...Fish?"
He drunkenly walks toward the meat area tipping over a few things
"I'll pick that up in a second!" He yells

Sayuri, a little further up the aisle, wheels herself over, looking concerned. "Are you alright, Takahashi-san? You don't seem yourself."

"Sayuri H-hey!"
He shakes his head a few time trying to regain what composure he had left
"I-I'm totaly fine I have never felt better. Hic!"

Sayuri purses her lips doubtingly. His breath stinks...perhaps he has consumed something that's making him act in this fashion? "Are you sure?"

"Yup-yup T-totally fine!"
He looks at his list again
"N-Now what was I looking for again? Sayuri C-can you help me plwez?"

Sayuri sighs. "I think you said you were looking for fish?"

"ummm..F-Fish fish fish.....Ah found it!"
Yuuji picks up the drunkenly picks up the product by luck
"S-Sayuri! I...can You look at this lisht please..? hic!"
He hands her the list and looks around seeing the eggs
no no that's last. Don't want to drop...something shiny on the ground!

Sayuri takes the list from Yuuji and looks at it. "Okay, let's see...eggs, fish, uhh...next on here is rice."

"W-where was that again....?"
He walks off to the vegetables picking up tomatoes and onions
"No no! Hic!"
He walks past the Rice and goes for the soda

"Uh, Takahashi-san, the rice is right there. You've walked past it."

What is the matter with him? It's like he's lost all his wits. This is something I should ask Father about.

"huh?"
He walks back and stares at the rice for a while
"T-This is rice...?"
He get a bag and heads toward the eggs
"NOW I can get thish!"

"Takahashi-san...are you sure you haven't taken something that's making you act like this? You're definitely not yourself right now."

"Pfft! No What are you talking about. Hic!"
Yuuji starts walking over to the front to pay for his items
"Sayuri Wi-will you accompany me back to the shchool pleasz?"

"If you insist." Sayuri is still not convinced but decides it would be impolite to continue asking.

Accompany him to school? Well...in this state I don't trust him to find his way back safely. "Certainly. Let's go."

With the items payed they both head out to.
"S-Sayuri...I...I was wondering w-why did you come to the store...? D-didn't that lasht time You came you h-hic! have everything you needed?

Sayuri seems confused by Yuuji's drunken question. "I...ran out of food, so I went to buy some more."

"Ri-RIght..." Yuuji amlost hits a few light poles on the way drunkenlly dodgeing them without noticing they were there in the first place.
If it weren't for his crutches Yuuji would have fallen over at least 5 times by now.
Sayuri...W-why do you look so... adorable right now...I-I mean just...wow.."

[OOC: Oh boy, I had a feeling this would happen...]

"Adorable? What are you talking about?"

Yuuji shakes his head
"No.. n-not adorable...beautiful. Hic!"
He stops for a moment and looks at the sky...
"Beautiful as that sky..."

"Takahashi-san...a...are you flirting with me?"

"I-is that w-wrong?"
Yuuji gets close to her putting down his bag of food."

"Yes, it is wrong. You have a girlfriend."

Yuuji falls to the ground and sits; his crutches fall behind him making an X on the ground.
"G-girlfriend...Ra.. Rach-el? W-where is she?"
He closes his eyes for a moment then looks up at Sayuri. At this point his alcohol levels are starting to decrease and Yuuji regains some brain power.
