(OPEN) I've got the blues...

(Chris, after spending the time getting to the Music Room in sorrow, locates a piano. He rolls himself up to the piano, cracks his knuckles, and begins playing a couple of songs from various video games & anime he's seen. He stumbles over a few of the correct keys, barely able to finish even one song from his mental setlist.) {I'm a bit rusty... Maybe I should taken up percussions instead.} (Chris continues to stroke away at the paino keys, making numerous mistakes, but nonetheless improving.)

My class has ended for a while but I was too held up by the teacher to go to the music room right after class as usual.

Yeah yeah yeah-I know my test scores are nearly perfect while my homework grades are barely average. The difference is the tests are from knowledge I have no need to look up in the book or anything. Homework is just a game of word hide and seek only the words have PHDs in hiding. Fricken-words.

I now end up at the door but it is different from usual.

The dead room lives?

I open the door to find Christopher...actually not doing half bad on the piano considering how much I've seen him practice. Zero.

*E* "Chris, bredduh! I didn't know you played!"

I...I think I recognize that song.

Is that...

(Chris stops playing long enough to acknowledge Satoshi having just entered the room.) Do you know of the late, great Ray Charles?

"It's 3:34 and don't call me that....wait-hold on!"

Being a huge fan of Ray Charles' music, I know a couple of his songs on the piano.

I rush over to the piano next to Cook on the stool and play a heavy, low, but funky style before speaking.

*English continuing* "Uight uight-look man. You know this song? I want you to give me a good 'hit the road jack and don't you come back no more no more no more no more, hit the road jack and don't you come back no more!"

I have a smile on my face.

While still playing I wait for the piano part to repeat before giving a loud,"A-one! A-two! A-one two three!"

(Chris smirks & equips his Wayfarer sunglasses. He then proceeds to play the paino, bobbing his head much like Ray Charles was known to do.)

"Eeehm okay you can play!"

I put on my best best voice. My voice sound style is pretty fitting for this song.

"Hit the ro-oad, Jack, and don'chya come back no more-no more-no more-no more!-Hit the ro-oad, Jack, and don'chya come back no more!"

You're turn, Mr.Ray. Hope he know's the song as well as I do!

I get a 'Wha'chou sayyyeyayee!' from him.

The performance is actually bringing a smile to my face.

I repeat the back up singer part before looking back at him.

Does he know this part too? It's a bit harder to remember than a little 'what do you say?'

(Chris sings his disjointed lyric with a traditional African American infliction.) "Now, baby. Listen, baby: why you treat this a-way? Cause I'll be back on my feet someday." Dude, we don't have to go in any particular order. Hey, wouldn't it be something if we could somehow get Nagisa, Megumi, and Yuri-chan to back our vocals?

"Haha, that'd be interesting seeing as Megumi hardly speaks, let alone sings."

"Don't CARE if ya do 'cause i's understood y'ain't got no money-ya just ain't no good."

Man, this guy sure picked a good song if he wanted to sing with me. Not even my dad knows the lyrics, I learned of and looked up the song myself.

(Haha, whenever I go on this forum page I get it re-stuck in my head. XD)
