[open] Memories

Following the somewhat.. interesting events that transpired in his dorm room, Hawke finds himself strolling through the park in the town. Glancing down at his watch, which shows that it is close to 11.30 in the evening, Hawke begins to sort through the thoughts in his head.

I need to remember what happened on that night. Remember what happened to me and Dad...

He decides to take his doctors advice and make a timeline of everything that happened that night.

As usual, he starts with the movie theatre: We left the movie theatre at about 7, Dad made some joke about the actor in the film.. We took our usual route back, down through the back alleys of our small town, it's quicker that way. We were nearing our house, when out of nowhere those thugs appeared, and said... they said... "Mr Hawke, ____ sends his regards." But who? Who sent their regards? It doesn't make any sense! How can I help with the investigation when I can't even REMEMBER.

Behind him Hawke hears some footsteps, and his blood begins to run cold. He calls out into the night: "W-who's there?!"

Yuuji had not notice he was accidentally following someone. His hood covered his face and could not see in front of him, the cold was nearly unbearable. Who's there? he hears and stops looking up seeing a silhouette.
"Yuuji is the name....who are you?"

"Oh Yuuji! Thanks god it's you! I thought I was a goner then!" He laughed nervously.

"What you doing out so late?"

Hawke?
"Jeez man you scared me a bit... I can only stay in my room for so long, needed some fresh air."

"Same.. I needed to... tidy my mind as it were."

whats with the pause...?
"I see..." they both walk through the park a bit more
"How are you liking it here Hawke?

"It's early days yet, but I'm really enjoying it. Everyone is so friendly! And I like the way I can just go for a midnight stroll in the park too!" He laughs.
"How long have you been here Yuuji? I never asked."

"I have been here for two years, right now its my third. Time goes by so fast that you forget people come and go." He sighs

"You sound like you miss someone."
God dammit! What if he's sensitive about that... Great going Hawke.

He sighs once more and nods his head a bit.
"Lets not talk about the past we are here now let us enjoy life now." he say trying to lighten the mood

"Agreed... although one last thing, I know you haven't known me long but I'm always here if you need to talk to someone.. or something. I've talked people through problems before, it's no big deal."

Namely me.

He pats Hawke on the back "Thanks, I know I can count you man."

Giving a half smile Hawke replies "No sweat."

Hawke stops and surveys the surrounding area. He notices a large estate off in the distance "Who's is that?"

"Whats what?" He looks where Hawke is staring.
"I can't see. lets go take a closer look "

"There's an estate over there... come on!" And begins climbing up a steep hill to the best of his limited ability with his leg to get a better view.

Yuuji follows. as he climbs he misplaces his good foot and falls but grabs on just before sliding down.
"Ummm Hawke a little help!"

Turning round he sees Yuuji slipping down the hill. "Hang on!" and slides down the hill.

"Upsie-daisy!" He says as he lifts him up. "Put your arm around me and I'll help you up"

Yuuji place his arm around Hawke's shoulders and gets some good footing. "Alright lets go."

Climbing up the hill a large estate comes into view surrounded by a wall

"I wonder who owns it."

"lets look up front and find out but try not to get caught the last thing both of us need is trouble."
they both reach the front of the estate looking around there are quite a few people still up
"What is this place?"

"I dunno... try to find a name plaque on the gate or something?"
Hawke begins searching around the wall.

Yuuji searches and feels something odd "Hawke over here." Yuuji checks his pockets. "You have some sort of light on you?"

"Err... a phone, somewhere..." He pats around his pockets until he finds it in his jacket's inside pocket "Here!" and shines it upon the plaque.
"I'm still not great at reading Japanese... what does it say?"

"It reads Futeki Estate..." Futeki?! "Hawke lets go now!"

"Leave? Why? I'm interested..."
Hawke begins to scale the wall but quickly realises this is gonna be futile with his bum leg after the second or third time he falls off.
