Chika was feeling some sort of self-worth tonight. One can say she was enjoying an ego-trip. She had taking up busking solo, around the streets, in train stations, and other miscellaneous establishments like bars, small impromptu sets in cafes and parks, and stifling underground venues; wide audiences accumulated around her in town as she performed American rock classics.

Chika had pretty much detached herself from the student body of Yamaku as she had her own agenda; she was an busy woman. Nicholas, however, was preoccupied with his academics (She had barely made it through the past school year academically) and the craft of songwriting through immersive study of poets such as Dylan Thomas, T.S. Eliot, Walt Whitman, William Cullen Bryant and philosophy and classic Western and Japanese literature. That bored her. She had no taste for dusty pages on the past. Now, now, now - went the refrain.

She sets up by the fountain, gripping her Rickenbacker by the neck with her left hand, and setting the amp down next to her. A dynamic microphone in its stand was in front of her plugged in. A percussionist from on her subway gigs was in attendance in back of her with a kit made of found objects. The performance was licensed. A small crowd started to gather...you amongst them.

Classes end for the day and Hawke lets himself drift through the crowds at Yamuku, and straight out into the crisp afternoon air in the courtyard. He waves to a couple of friends and makes his way to his dorm room.

Once inside he drops off his bag and goes into the small fridge he'd purchased to keep various snack items and an unhealthy amount of Diet Coke... only to find it empty. With a sigh, he gets up, grabs his wallet and a coat and starts his journey to the mall. He needed to pick up a few other essential items so he may as well kill two birds with one stone and head to the city.

The bus ride was uneventful, aside from a homeless man sleeping on his shoulder the whole way.

Once inside the large mall, Hawke walks toward a large group gathering around what seems to be a street performer. He can't see through the press of people, so makes his way towards the front where he sees a girl he vaguely recognises from school.

Standing at the front of the crowd, he smiles and gives her a wave.

This should be good.

She squints at your waving figure and recognizes you, waving fervently back with a smile. Glitter was in her now longer but still scruffy blonde hair as well as blue eyeliner around her eyes and red lipstick. A pair of leather shorts adorned her, stopping only mid-thigh. On her upper body, she wore a thin and ripped red T-shirt that bared her belly and a small leather jacket to match the shorts.

Chika does a test strum after her amp and pedals are set up. A rich, distorted tone flows from the guitar drawing slight applause and hoots from the audience. She raises her head and nods to the audience before shouting unexpectedly.

"1, 2, 3, 4!"

Chika riffs one hard and fingers the fretboard with a extremely acute technical precision that she was unable to do before and finishes the rest of the opening riffs before the percussionist starts to smatter away on his kits with Chika coming in with her unique voice: a classic arena rock type roar-scream mixed with a punky snarl.

"OH!
OOOOOOOOH, YEAH, OW~"

She unleashes a few unruly power riffs before steadying into the main with a few noisy distortion flashes here and there. Before singing the lyrics in English, her Japanese accent coming out more due to the loud passion of her vocals.

(Ziggy played guitar, jamming good with Weird and Gilly,
And the spiders from Mars. He played it left hand
But made it too far
Became the special man, then we were Ziggy's band

Now Ziggy really sang, screwed up eyes and screwed down hairdo
Like some cat from Japan, he could lick 'em by smiling
He could leave 'em to hang
'Came on so loaded man, well hung and snow white tan.

*Loud and electric searing riffs from Chika's Rickenbacker are amplified into the face of the crowd*

So where were the SPI-DERS, while the fly tried to break our balls
With just the beer light to guide us,
So we bitched about his fans and should we crush his sweet hands?

Ziggy played for time, jiving us that we were voodoo
The kid was just crass, he was the nazz
With God given ass
He took it all too far but boy could he play guitar

*She headbangs wildly, shaking her hair everywhere, getting into her noisy playing while cymbals crash behind her*

Making love with his ego Ziggy sucked up into his mind
Like a leper messiah
When the kids had killed the man I HAD TO BREAK UP THE BAND

OH, YEAH~

Ooooooooh~

Ziggy played guitaaaaaaarrrr)

*The song descends into a harsh strain of extremely loud feedback and an extended drum solo with a finishing orchestral controlled thrashing of the hi-hats and a rising tumbling drum rolls before the percussionist tosses up his drumsticks and they fall on his cymbals, causing a loud CRASH as Chika's guitar noise ceases*
