(Open) A new day?

Sumiko pokes her head out from the school entrance. Scared and helpless she dashes in holding a couple of books. She stops for just a moment to turn around and fix her hood. Fixing herself up and trying her best to cover her face, she turns once more and bumps into someone. Sumiko yelps falling to the ground, her hood coming off.

(Chris, not realizing who or what has bumped into him, turns around to address the issue. He sees a frightened looking young women on the floor, and decides to assist her.) Excuse me, ma'am, are you okay?

Sumiko looks up slightly seeing a young male in front of her but immediately looks down covering her face Nononononono
"Y-yes I'm fine."

I'm walking to class when I notice Cook standing over a girl hiding her face for some reason.

God, I heard he wasn't the greatest with girls but I'm preeeeetty certain he shouldn't be this bad.

I notice some people staring and my 'older brother instincts' kick in.

"Hey-come on, nothing to see here, you!"

I swear, man. People these days.

"Yeah, bredduh. She's alright, she's alright."

"Y-..yeah yeah, don't worry about it, I'll take care of it, man."

(Chris pulls Satoshi aside.) Dude, this is like deja vu. Let me see to her, okay? Yuuji mentioned that I need to stop being so afraid of girls, so an opportunity like this is perfect. Try not to get any ideas from this either.

Sumiko quickly covers her face with her hood. She savages around for her books only getting one. the other near the first boys feet.
"I... Ummm..."

While Satoshi and Chris are talking to each other, Hawke notices they have completely neglected the young girl scrabbling on the floor for her books. Hawke limps over and says with false incredulation "Satoshi! Christopher! How could you leave a poor young woman such as this to her own devices when she is clearly in need?" Turning to the young girl "Hi, do you need any help there?" He says with a sympathetic smile.

Another....? She looks away but points at something
"Please, I-I just want my book."

I give a wink to Cook like. "Ahh-ight! Go get 'em tiger!"

As I'm walking away I direct my attention to Hawke.

"Hey, don't look at me I thought Cook was taking care of that."

I chuckle a little before spotting more on lookers.

"Later, man-hey you!"

And like that I'm gone.

Oh dear. She's a shy one.
"S-sure thing." He walks over to her dropped book, picks it up and hands it back to her. As she takes it he asks "You ok there? I don't bite." He says with a smile.
Softly softly.

Still looking away she takes the book.
"I-I'm fine."
Please I just want to go to my room

Come on guys. By the way, ma'am, I'm senior Christopher Cook. We'll be going now... (Chris grabs both Hawke & Satoshi by their ears & drags them down the hall.)

Abort. Abort.
"Well, I'll let you get to it. I'm Hawke by the way, if you ever need anything don't be afraid to ask" he says, smiling warmly, and begins to follow after Satoshi. As he passes Chris he leans and whispers into his ear "Good luck."

"Satoshi! Wait!"

[Oh crap.]

"Woah-woah-woah! What'd I do?!"

I was just walking when all of the sudden I feel my ear grow a jet engine and tow the rest of my body in the direction of where I was walking but faster.

"Dudedudedudedude-"

My voice becomes overly raspy and sounds more like a chimpanzee's than a humans all of the sudden.

"-LET GOOO!"

My hands overly-dramatically swat at Christopher's wrist. After he lets go I continue to swing and throw three overly-dramatic (purposefully missing) punches.

"The hhhhhhhhELL man, I was already leaving!"

Sumiko gets up as the two boys leave. She stands still looking around feeling lost
"Wait!"

"Yeah, Cook, wait!"

My ear is so violated!

Turning around with a wry smile.
"Can we help you?"

"C-can you tell me w-where the girls dorm is...?"

(Chris bodly offers his hand to the excited girl.) No sense in resting on a floor is there? Yamaku's floors aren't as clean as Disney World's.

In a MORE GENTLE way, I tap Tiberius on the shoulder.

Gesturing with my head and thumb I point away from the general area like 'come on man.'

She reaches for his hand but retreats back. It was either take his hand and let her books drop again or vise versa. Her eyes start to get watery
"I just want to know where the girls dorm is..."

Hawke turns to Satoshi.

"But.. but.. girl..... Oh alright. Just this once." Hawke leaves Chris to his prize. "I got Ayame anyway.... apparently. To be honest I think she's dead."

"At least she appeared more than Yuri-chan. I've no idea where she even lives since she doesn't live in a dorm anyway so it's not like I can go visit her."

"And quite frankly, it probably isn't wise to go after someone so quickly, dude."

I give him a pat on the back.

I may not have much experience with women, but being a distant person also allowed me to see the pattern in relationships. It's generally safer not to go for a girl you hardly know. Best to get to know her and then flirt if you like her.

"You're right. I just can't help myself around a nice pai-.... around a member of the female race. I elected to change my wicked ways when I moved here, and I should probably stick to that decision."
