APPEARANCE: Nicholas stands at about 5 feet, 9 inches and has short light brown/chestnut coloured hair. He has very soft features and brown eyes. Nicholas's body is skinny, lanky and not very athletic. His voice is hushed but light and he has a slight but noticeable English accent.

BACKSTORY: Nicholas is the son of musicians Elliott Harrison and Norah Dazai as well the elder fraternal twin of Chika Harrison- Dazai. He cried a lot as a baby and toddler with his parents noticing a high sensitivity to loud noises and certain sensations. As a child, Nicholas would always shy away from human contact and remain extremely silent almost in a catatonic state of just being often using a series of odd hand gestures to communicate. Most of his time was spent alone on his own accord with his sister mostly attempting to get through to him in which she eventually succeeded, creating a strong, inseparable bond between the two. It was suggested by doctors and a few psychiatrists that Nicholas might have Asperger's syndrome along with traits relative severe avoidant personality disorder ( the latter hypothesis coming near his teenage years). Most startling was his sudden and violent outbursts of emotions at any random time, seemingly building up beneath his stoic exterior until they explode, followed by a long period of sullen, silent depression. Becoming aware of his condition as he got older, Nicholas developed his fatalistic and slightly pessimistic outlook (mostly about himself and his own destiny) and his self-defeating avoidant tendencies. Chika ,by then, had been the first to pick up an instrument and with musician blood running through his veins from few generations on his father' s side, he took interest but not from the loud, noisy rock that she and his mother played. His first musical appreciations lay in classical composers and pianists Erik Satie, Claude Debussy and Felix Mendelssohn as well as Nick Drake, Tom Waits and Van Morrison. His first compositions were impressionist and romantic in style with clear jazz influence on piano, his first instrument of choice. Soon his interests shifted to space, textures, dynamics and rhythm. He researched extensively for such artists and found American and British post-rock, German Krautrock, ambient and electronic music. He worked in a fever in constant experimentation, sometimes collaborating with his sister and wrote extensively on musical subjects and techniques until a series of sudden and severe emotional breakdowns took their toll on him, leaving him incapacitated for a about a year, reducing him back to his catatonic state. When he started showing signs of recovery, a doctor recommended that Nicholas attend Yamaku Academy for further specialized help whilst receiving. quality education. They obliged and Nicholas was sent to Yamaku after a series of doctors appointments and psychiatric sessions and evaluations, his sister tagging along.

PERSONALITY: Nicholas exhibits a hushed and sullen personality, preferring to stay silent than converse and enjoys and simultaneously abhors his solitude. He rarely smiles, only his sister mostly and parents receiving one. He doesn't like loud noises and has impeccable audiovisual perception. His intellect is hidden behind his wall of silence; he actually has a near genius level IQ. Nicholas has a very philosophical, spiritual and poetic view of the world that can be noted in his writings and journals.
