First Impressions [OPEN]

First days were always a pain, whether it be amongst the great halls of the council..Or just the large courtyard overshadowed by the academy..There was something about them that made Oliver uneasy - yet, excited! With a hastily hand drawn map in one hand, he glanced over the piece of paper in an attempt to work out exactly where he was standing in regards to the campus. Aha, he'd spotted it. Grinning stupidly to himself, the blonde male tucked the piece of paper into his shirt and proceeded to wander across the grass. With almost a skip in step, he decided to settle down on a nice looking patch of grass. Lessons had seemingly not begun for the day yet, and he absently reminded himself that he'd have to find his dorm room shortly. Looking up at the sky, he began to become distracted by the passing clouds overhead.

Sumiko strolls down the courtyard. Feeling depressed with Chris gone.
She stares at the ground not looking where she is going and trips onto the sitting person
"ow ow ow....I-I'm sorry!"
Sumiko quickly moves a couple of feet away, getting distance between her and the other person then bows covering her embarrassed face

Eyes diverting form the sky immediately as he felt something collide with him, Oliver's attention was drawn to the girl who seemingly hadn't been looking where she was going. Getting up from the grass with a chuckle, he brushed his leg off from the collision, watching the girl bow apologetically.

"Hey - No, it's my fault for sitting right in the middle of the grass!"

In hindsight, under a tree or something might have been a better idea.

"No i-it's mine I was not l-looking where I was going."
SUmiko bows once more
"Please forgive me."

"No need to apologize, really!"

Oliver chuckled. She really was overacting - neither of them had ended up injured, and really he shouldn't have picked such a obstructive place to sit in the first place.

"What's your name?"

"S-Sumiko Nakagawa...."
She takes a step back not trust him...
"Y-yours?"

"Nice to meet ya', I'm Oliver."

He replied, taking note of the fact she'd stepped away from him. As far as he knew, he didn't exactly look scary - though decided not to bring the topic up. She probably had her reasons.

"N-nice t-to meet y-you...."
Sumiko looks around the courtyard trying not to make eye contact
"W-what are you doing here?"

"Ah- I'm new here! And I was dawdling before heading off to find where the hell my room is - let alone the dorm."

The blonde explained, chuckling slightly. Oliver had a habit of putting things off like that - Though he had no intentions to be late for any lessons.

"You're new here...w-welcome to Yamaku High then."
Sumiko thinks for a moment not knowing what to day next. meeting someone was not something new to her but thinking up of a conversation was the difficult part
"Where are you originally from?"
She says curiously. With his blond hair she would assume he is a foreigner.

"Big Se~cret!"

Oliver grinned widely - Sure, he could have come up with some reasonable place of origin, but it was all the much funner to just peak peoples curiosity.

"If I told you, I'd have to kill you." He joked.

Sumiko pouts as he jokes
"I-i just wanted to know."
She turns around
"I was going to show you around as an act of kindness since it's your first day here... but I guess not."
Hope he takes the bait. what he gets for joking at me

"Eeh? Surely I can redeem myself!"

Oliver blinked, rather hopeful that he could obtain a guide. He had a decent sense of direction.. But the academy seemed quite overwhelming.

Bingo.
She quickly turns ,adjusting her hood, with a smile on her face
"Just tell me where you are from and I'll happily show you around."

"Aw - You got me. London. Good ol' England!"

He remarked convincingly - Shrugging in defeat. Demons were far too good at lying - something that could come in handy in a sticky situation.

She smiles happily at her small victory and motions for Him to follow
"London... What is it like there?"

"Busy. It's almost impossible to get through the crowds there! But I do love it."

Luckily for him, he'd been a few places in the world. For various reasons. Sometimes leisure, sometimes business. He followed beside her, quite happy to be on his way.

"What about you? Where're you from?"

"I-I'm not a local here. I use to live in Osaka."
She lightly clenches her right shoulder but lets go instantly
"b-but Please tell em more About London! I would like to learn more."
She says with sparkles in her eyes

'Well, what would you like to know?'

He asked, the grin still on his face.

She thinks for a moment
"What kind food Do you eat? how tall the buildings? What kind of clothes to they wear?"

Oliver rose an eyebrow at her enthusiastic questions about the English city. For him, he found most human cities quite bland, compared to the likes of which he was used to in other worlds.

"Ah! So many questions!" He laughed. "Are you fond of Ferris wheels? There's a HUGE one by the river, lets you see the whole city!"

Her eyes sparkle again
"S-show me!"
She squeals in excitement as she dashes ahead of Oliver
"Come on!"

"Show you? That'd be one long trek! London is interesting thou-- Hey! Wait up!"

Oliver blinked in surprise as she dashed ahead of him, running forward a bit to catch up.

She stopped in her tracks and turns around
"Tell me Oliver. Where would you like to go in the school?"
She playfully smiles
"This place is pretty big you can get lost very easily."

"Hmm, Lets see~ How about you surprise me?"

Oliver suggested - not really knowing where to choose first. To be perfectly honest, the whole school fascinated him and almost reminded him of home.
