NAME: Mihoko Ikina

APPEARANCE: She has black medium length hair that always looks as if she just rolled out of bed, with blue eyes and a sort of slender build & glasses that she needs to see. When teaching she usually tries to dress more professional, but almost always ends up in one of her favorite t-shirts with a long sleeve shirt underneath with either a ankle length skirt or one of her favorite pairs of jeans, and she's never found with out her favorite pair sneakers near by. This is also how she dresses when she's not teaching.

BACKSTORY: Born in a smaller city she was an only child. Her dad took care of her a lot when she was young because her mom worked a lot, so her and her dad had a very close bond. One day when Mihoko was about 5,her and her parents were on the way to visit some family when tragedy struck. A semi truck had a blow-out, lost control, and hit the car Mihoko and her parents were in. When she woke up in the hospital she was in a daze, she heard voices but couldn't make out who they were, and her eyes wouldn't focus. Once she had a moment to come out of her daze she was able to force her eyes to focus just enough to be able to make out some man in a long white coat he was talking to Mihoko's Aunt, Uncle, and Cousin, Izumo who was her age. Mihoko still felt a little confused and tried to sit up but hurt too much to do so, it was at this point she realized she couldn't feel her left leg and started to freak out a little. The doctor noticed at this point that Mihoko was awake and after calming her down explained that she had been in an accident and that her leg had been crushed in the wreck and had to be amputated and in addition she had suffered some head trauma in the wreck that had caused some damage to some parts of eyes, but that could be fixed with glasses. What came next was almost too much for her, the doctor explained that her parents had died in the accident, but her Aunt and Uncle were going to take care of her.This nearly broke her, and for some time it was as if she'd given up. Then one day he cousin while trying to cheer her up got slightly frustrated at her lack of response and said "If you just give up and die, what would your Parents think?" This made her realize that she couldn't just give up, and motivated her to make them proud because her cousin was right. What would they think? She was determined not to let anything get in her way. In a new home with her new leg she started school in a new city. Sure some people made fun of her prosthetic leg, but she never let it to her. There was one girl she met in 2nd grade named Yuki Asakura and the two became fast friends. They were inseparable, that is until around the time they were in grade 8. Yuki's father got a new job and they had to move far away. Sure Mihoko was sad, but she was determined to not let it get her down. Mihoko never really dated at all because she never really had in interest in that sort of thing.Being rather intelligent she often helped her cousin with his homework. She realized that she liked helping others, this was when she decided to become a teacher. She worked harder than ever and after high school she got into a good college where she worked even harder to achieve her goal. Upon graduating from college she applied to work at Yamaku Academy, it was a place she felt would be a place where she could not only pursue her passion of teaching, but also help those who need it.

PERSONALITY: When in the class room she tries to come across as a stern teacher, but that never really works. That's when her true rather laid back personality shows through, however she always takes her role as a teacher seriously. Her laid back personality does cause some students to think they can get away with more than they actually can, and sometimes they do (to a degree that is). This some what laid back demeanor has caused her to but heads with her fellow teachers on more than one occasion, and as such she tends to not get along with her fellow teachers very well, that and the fact that she does tend to put things off until the last minuet. At times she tends to act a little more like a student than a teacher which also has caused it's share of problems with the other teachers, and some of the more serious students. One of her personality traits that's one of her best features of her personality is very possibly also one of her biggest faults, she never wants to back down from a challenge & wants to help anyone who needs or wants her help.This comes from some of the events of her childhood/teen years. A result of this is she's always willing to go the extra distance for a student who insists that they can't do it, or if they just don't understand the material or just to be there if any of them ever needs someone to talk to. Mihoko also has a very big sense of humor and even enjoys the occasional practical joke. One of her problems is she doesn't really have any friends, except for Yuki who she hasn't seen since Junior High, she tends to like to spend her spare time by her self. To sum her up, even though she is dedicated to her work she does tends to be a bit of a slacker.

The profile looks really good, but there's just one little thing that bothers me. As NorX pointed out to me over Skype, your character seems a little too perfect, almost like a Mary Sue. She's good-looking, funny, intelligent and liked by everyone. Before I approve her, I'd like you to specify a couple of negative traits of her personality, just to balance things out a little.

Alright I adjusted a few things and gave her a couple of flaws, if I need to adjust it again and/or give her some more flaws just let me know. Also I used the wrong avatar image, so I replaced it with the appropriate one. Thank you for the advice.
