Brand New Day (Open)

Kai stepped out of the cab, and stepped to the trunk to grab his things. He didn't have too much, only his guitar and a duffle bag with some clothes and other personal belongings. He didn't pack much, as he was going to be wearing a uniform anyway. Kai nodded to the cab driver, signalling he had everything he needed. The driver nodded back and sped back off towards town. Like that, he was standing alone in front of the gates to his new home. For a fleeting moment, Kai thought about walking away from the school. He could probably find a job somewhere, and not have to deal with his parents ever again. But with a sigh, Kai shook the thought from his head. "Iv'e been talking to my friends too much" Kai muttered to himself, a short laugh coming afterwards. He looked at the gates for a moment, before heading inside.

Kai's head was on a swivel, trying to take in his surroundings. The place certainly had enough greenery. It reminded Kai of his home back on Hawaii. As he walked around though, he suddenly realized something and frowned

He was completely and utterly lost.

He hadn't thought about it when he first entered, but now he realized his folly. With a frustrated sigh, he started looking around for someone to help him out with directions.

In the forum's canon right now, the courtyard is empty, since the annual medical examinations are occurring. All students are required to participate, so Kai wouldn't be allowed to roam the courtyard freely. Right now, you have two options: A) Give up on this thread and either make or join one in the med exams subforum in order to meet some people; or B) Edit your post with an OOC note explaining exactly when the thread this takes place, in relation to the examinations. I'd recommend that you go with A wholeheartedly, as going with B will make things very complicated.
