[Open] Robo-Chris

Second period is almost up.

The class is mostly people talking to their other friends while some study, finish the work if they had trouble or were just distracted, or do other things of their own business.

I myself am [Y'all say it with me now] drawing in my personal tablet.

[Ladies and gentlemen-boys and girls. Raiden just shit his pants if you already know what I sketched because I know he does.]

A snore which scores a hefty 7.2 on the Richter Scale emanates from the sleeping Hawke, causing a few others in the classroom to laugh. The snore quickly turns into a grunt of pain.

In his dream Hawke is in a strange building with many of his friends. Across the room Satoshi sits in chains, guarded by a cybernetically enhanced Kuriko, who is savagely beating him with his own tonfas. Hawke sits powerless as he watches his friend mercilessly bludgeoned to a pulp, and cries out to him.

A boy with blue hair walks up to Hawke and crouches, holding a knife to Hawke's mouth.

"I'm gonna gut you like they gutted your father." The boy laughs, "I hope you don't squeal as much as he did!" He says with a cackle, and plunges the knife into Hawke's throat and leaves it, letting Hawke drown to death in his own blood.


He awakes with a start and looks around, shrugging to the teacher. "Late night. I'm sorry, sensei."

He turns to Satoshi, who is sitting beside him. "Man, I just had the WEIRDEST dream..."

"Really? You and me both."

Sweet, I get to have a larger insight in Tiberius's mind.

"Well... you and Kuriko were there, and she was... hurting you. A lot. She had some.. changes... Eyes. Robotic eyes. And she was beating you with your tonfas. A lot. Then that Eric kid stuck a knife in my throat and told he that I was going to die like my father did.... screaming."

Hawke sits back in his chair and lets out a long sigh in an attempt to purge the sleep from himself.

"What was yours about?"

Interesting...

"Mine was similar but different in parts. At least in the Kuriko aspect."

However, even in the part with her, it was...quite the oppasite.

I'm worried. I hope there isn't anything that would cause such a thing like that dream...I should go see her again after school.

I know I just saw her yesterday but..I don't know-I just feel like I need to.

"Do you know anything that would of caused that dream for you?"

"No. I'm not one to usually fantasise about robots and mechanized war... You on the other hand.." He says, gesturing towards Satoshi's drawing.

"It's strange that we would have similar dreams." Hawke wonders aloud.

"Am not! It's my favorite character in the game he's from."

"...Okay, maybe a little when it comes to UAVs and UGVs-but whatever."

But that isn't important right now.

"Well you said-Eric was his name?-that he commented about your father's passing."

"Kuriko also commented on me in a similar manner. That is where our dreams differ."

"They may be similar but in no way are they the same."

"Conclusion? Just a coincidence."

"I'm sure of it." Hawke says with a smile.

"What lesson are we in?" he whispers, with his cheeks turning red.

A sigh escapes me.

*E* "8 3, bruh." (8.3)

"that would probably explain why we're in the art room..."

Hawke sighs and looks down at his pad of paper. all that was on it was a simplistic ink sketch of a bird.

[If it was in the art room I would of put us in the art room but I guess it's alright. XD

And I also see the reference you made.]

I catch Hawke's look down at his paper.

"Don't give it that look. I think it is an exellent bird."

Optimism practically radiates from my words.

Hawke looks at Satoshi with his head slightly cocked to the side, "Yeah. Right. I'm sure he loves all the freedom he guts in there." He says, sarcastically.

He flips over the page and starts drawing something new, not entirely sure what it is himself. "Y'know... back in England my art teacher told me I was 'artistically challenged'" He says, making air quotations.

I pull out my phone to look at a couple pictures of the character before continuing to add little details.

Wined up...

"That's because you-"

I teasingly punch Tiberius in the arm he isn't drawing with.

"-are artistically challenged, dude!"

"Was that bird your assignment or for fun?"

Tiberius returns the favour by giving Satoshi a considerably harder thump on the shoulder.

"Don't start something you can't finish." He warns.

"The bird was part of an assignment I guess. You know the one where we had to do a study on ink drawings? Just an idea I had."

Even if Hawke was a musical genius, his creativity didn't cross over into the art world. His results in art were pretty dire, coming out at about a C-D grade compared to his other subjects which were mostly A's, with the content-heavy subjects being B's as a result of his memory loss.

I rub my shoulder where I got hit.

"Shit, dude, I was only kidding."

"Well, problem number one is your aren't drawing something you're interested in, correct?"

"Unless you like birds as much as I do-and I don't even draw them-you are probably not going to get into it enough to really consider calling it practice."

My hand movements increase as I speak. Moving more than the usual quarter-Italian.

"Tell me, Hawke, what do you think is cool?"

I usually draw things associated with weapons because I like the science behind taking a little metal cone-like piece and instantly propelling it to 3598 miles per hour out of a tube.

Even my stories and their plots are based on the ethics and tendencies of government and the human mind because they fascinate me.

"Me, obviously." Hawke replies immediately, with absolutely no shame whatsoever in his voice.

"I'm as badass as they come..." He muses while he continues to doodle.

The drawing begins to take form, it's a pretty bad attempt but it can be clearly recognised as a Xenomorph from the ancient "Alien" films.

"Naw, I kid. I do like creating creatures though when I draw.." He thinks back to his early childhood and remembers the game Spore.

"Did ya ever play Spore as a kid? That game was freakin' hilarious."

Before Tiberius can even say he is kidding, I open up my pad to a previous drawing.

"Oh...uh..heh-heh..."

'I do like creating creatures though when I draw..'

"Really?"

Well, I've only got two drawings of the same thing for that. Not really my thing.

"I loved that game!"

"I made so many things. Like a floating land fish, a Venus Flytrap people, Mini Moose, Humans-even real fighter jets!"

"Bu~~t I kinda lost the game..."

"It was brilliant." Hawke says with a big smile on his face. "Running around the plains beating people up by spitting on them!"

"Rolling with your father and grandfather. Dying once and then getting pissed off so you all-of-the-sudden evolve to be a fricken walking tank of weapons and stuff."

"Making the most screwed up races to ever exist. Like one with a single leg that extends as tall and long as you can make it while still having your animal crawl on the ground."

*E*"I swear, man-I was bat shit-insane with that game."

I can't help but laugh thinking of the stuff I did.

[One thing Satoshi didn't do: Make a giant penis with two legs and then make it evolve into a human-like race that grabs shit with it's dong. After doing that, I showed my buddy, Marc and he has the Galactic Adventures. What we did was make a map in which you and a bunch of policemen have to defend a village of children from a swarm of the human-like ones and a few HUGE walking-penis ones. We died of laughter for hours while making it. We really could not stop crying. X"D]

[Again with the notification swallowing!]

A smile spreads across Hawke's lips.

He begins to speak but is interrupted by the bell ringing.

Quick as lightning, he gathers his stuff up.

"Lunch time!" He says with a grin. "You comin' brah?"

An invitation to lunch?

Well, I like the occasional company when it comes to food. Sitting on the roof alone can be repetative sometimes.

"Sure, mate. I like a bit of company."

I put my stuff away and lift myself out of my chair with my arms and stand before leaving with Hawke.

"Where to, captain?" Hawke says cheerfully, while cracking out a diet coke from the near-infinite supply in his bag.

The pair are stood by a couple of lockers in the busy hallway of the art room corridor; the hustle and bustle of the crowd passes by their own confined bubble of privacy. Occasionally an acquaintance or two greets Hawke, and he simply replies with a nod.

Having taken a begrudgingly neccesary trip to the bathroom, chiharu passes the two on her way back to the roof. As she walks by, she glances at the two but doesn't saying anything and just keeps on her way. It is quite obvious she is struggling to make her way through the crowd, for she isn't at all used to doing so, as well as other reasons.

Hawke notices a distressed face in the crowd, and calls out to her.

"Hey! You ok there?"

[OOC: I thought this was before Hawke met her, or is this supposed to be after summer break? Eh, I can roll with it.]

Chiharu stops in her tracks and turns around to respond, "Yeah I'm fi-", only to soon realize stopping in the middle of a moving crowd isn't such a bright idea as someone just about walks right through her, forcing her to turn sideways and step out towards the two boys.
*sigh*
"Or atleast I was."
She seems quite annoyed, not neccesarily at hawke, but more at the general state she is in at the moment.
