[OPEN] Guys' Day Out

Toshi stepped off the bus as it pulled to a stop outside the mall.

Stopping near the doors, he turned around and waited for the others to disembark.

Mizo carefully stepped off of the bus and joined Toshi on the side walk.

I step off the bus and look around a bit, as the city still isn't familiar to me. I then walk to Mizo and Endo to wait for... I don't think I got the last guy's name. If I did, I don't recall.
Oh well.

Kaim stepped out towards the city. Rarely been here, but should be interesting to see what occupies everyone for the day.

"All right," Toshi said as he led the group inside. "What part shall we hit first? Lunch? Shopping? Games?"

"How about we shop first, it's still a little early for lunch."

Mizo's suggestion seems better than any I have, namely because I don't actually have any.
"Sounds fine to me." I state.

It's past the time we would have eaten at school, but okay.

"Fine by me," he said, shrugging.

"Oh, wait… didn't you say you were going to get a haircut while we were here? Is there a salon in the mall?
If you want to do that, I suppose the rest of us can start looking at shopping in the meantime."

"Sounds like a good idea to me. I'll catch up you guys in a bit then."

"Okay, see ya.

"So… Kaim, Sora, which stores should we go to?"

("Anywhere is fine." I state, then think of what kind of things could result from so vague a suggestion as "anywhere", then decide it's not important.

"Headphones would be in an electronics section somewhere." I state, somewhat quietly as I'm somewhere between talking to Endo and to myself.

Kaim thought to himself of things he needed. He has enough sports clothes he thought...buuuuut....

"Where would they sell fire dancing equipment? I need new poi."

(This mixture of first and third person always throws me off XD)

A more interesting thought catches my attention.
"You do fire dancing?" I ask whatshisfacetheguythatcameoffthebuslast, eyes opened from their usual half-closed state.

Kaim shrugged slightly and replied in his usual passive monotone voice. He had no idea who this kid was, but he seemed rather inquisitive. Then again, who wasn't with someone spinning fire around.

"Among other things."

"I would assume so. Doing nothing but fire dancing would be kinda weird."

That's a new one.

"I don't know that any store here would have that. Probably something you'd have to mail-order or whatever.

"So, electronics store?"

I nod in confirmation of that going to the electronics store seems a fine idea.
"My right earbud pushes itself out of my ear constantly." I explain. "Clip-on headphones might be nice."

"Okay then. There's some stuff I could use there too."

He started off in the direction of the electronics stores.

I begin following Endo, assuming that he knows where he's going.

Kaim shrugged slightly and followed them. Maybe something would pop up for his music listening that caught his interest.

When they arrived at the store, Toshi headed over to the music section and began scanning the shelves.

Got it… got it… not interested… got it…
Ooh, this is new.

I being looking around for clip-on headphones, as I don't see how one of those could push itself off of my ear like my current earbuds do. Additionally, when I first got earbuds, the thought of sticking something into my ear like that was kinda weird to me. I've gotten used to it, but I don't think I'd mind not having to do that anymore.
There's plenty of expensive pairs for people who want great sound quality and noise cancellation and stuff. I don't really notice the difference between decent and amazing sound quality, I think, and noise cancellation does matter much because actually being unable to hear what's going on around you is kinda weird and I don't like it.
One of the cheaper pairs is by Audio Technica, not that brands ever mattered much to me. There's a few different colors. I choose one that's listed as purple but looks blue to me, as it seems more interesting than the white and black versions. I wonder if they'll break soon because they're cheaper. Hopefully not.
I follow Endo to find him stop as something catches his interest.

Toshi turned his head briefly as Sora approached.

"Well that was a quick decision," he noted.

By this point he had a handful of albums picked out, labels visible along the spines: Alice in Chains, Bush, The Dead Weather, Gorillaz, Them Crooked Vultures…

"Anything you want over here?"

I look at what Endo's carrying, thinking about how he seems to have made several decisions faster than I made one.
Oh well.
I look around a bit at whatever there is to get before deciding "No."

Kaim went over the digital things, not having a CD player. He took a Spotify premium card, since he needed to renew that. Other than that, Kaim couldn't find anything that particularly caught his interest.

His attention was caught by some headphones. They looked rather unorthodox, but the design appealed him. So he decided to pick them up too to buy.
