[OPEN] Late Night Walk

With the atmosphere in the room rising sharply, Hawke clears his throat.

"Itsuki is an archer, Chiharu." He says in a lighthearted tone.

<I do hope he won't insist on continuing that tapping.>
"Oh. That's interesting, when'd you start doing that, Itsuki?"

Itsuki stopped tapping. "Wow, must been about...ten years ago," he answered, "Maybe more, I can't really remember. I've just been doing it a long time."

Chiharu seems fairly intrigued with the topic as she continues questioning Itsuki.
"What kind of techniques have you learned over the years?

"Oh a whole lot," replied Itsuki grinning, "My mom taught me most of them." He though a moment and then added, "Right now I'm working on learning how to shoot with my teeth. Mind you, I don't have much of choice, but it's still interesting."

"You don't have much of a cho-" Hawkes gaze drops to Itsuki's shoulder. "Never mind." He says, cheeks turning red.

Itsuki notices Hawke's reaction and can't help but laugh. "A blusher, eh Hawke?"

Chiharu suppresses a smile and yawns to further cover up how funny she found hawke's blunder to be. After which, she continued onwards with the conversation.
"I meant, specifically. Like what exact techniques do you use? Like how do aim? do you hold your breath at all? how much do you have to compensate for gravity in your shot?"

Itsuki held up his hand. "Kappa, Kappa," he said in a calming voice, "You have to understand one very important thing; My mom taught me to be an instinctive shooter. That means I don't worry about the specifics and just use my mind."

Hawke leans forward and looks to Chiharu, "He uses the power of his mind." He says solemnly, "He's telekinetic as well as psychic."

Itsuki laughed again. "Right you are, Hawke, right you are."

Hawke leans back in his chair.

At least he can take a joke.

Chiharu laughs shortly and falls silent afterwards as she is entirely unsatisfied with the answer she received.

Sensing some disappoint, Itsuki hesitantly adds, "Sorry I couldn't be more descriptive, it's just kind of second nature to me."

"But.. How do you do something without thinking about? Like, that doesn't make any sense at all. Wouldn't you end up doing something you didn't want to? Do you even remember how you did it or do you just turn yourself off or something?"
She is quite insistent on getting some kind of answer.

Itsuki was quite for a minute trying to think of a way to phrase what he wanted to say.

He took a deep breath and began, "I don't want to say it's like breathing, cause it's not. It's like...running I guess. Like good distance running. You don't have to think about it too much to get going, but you do have to concentrate and pace yourself. So your mind's thinking, but only about the most basic things."

He ran his hair through his hair. I hope that made sense, and didn't make me sound like an idiot.

<That would probably make more sense if I've ever done any long distance running.>
She nods for a moment before shrugging and saying, "Maybe I just have to try it out myself."

(OoC: Opps! I guess I' as sleep deprived as Itsuki.)

"Come down to the gym and I'll show you," said Itsuki, "I'm there almost every morning."

Hawke turns his head slowly.

Oh no you didn't.

"Is it ok if I tag along?"

"I won't mind, I'll meet you there."
<Actually, I'd rather do it alone at first>

"Of course Hawke," replied Itsuki, "I'll enjoy the company. Usually it's just me there."

"So, you're an extrovert than."
Whether chiharu's statement was a question or not wasn't at all clear in her tone of voice or how she was looking out the window at the time.

"Sounds about right," replied Itski, shifting a little, "I have a habit of...picking up people, I guess."

<Wouldn't that be kinda hard with one arm?>
She looks over and asks, "What do you mean?"

"People just kind of end up hanging around me," explained Itsuki, "Not even necessarily friends just...people."
