APPEARANCE: Kurai has naturally dark hair, with a hint of gray and brown eyes. He is in shape. He usually dresses in a fashionable manner when going out in public. When at his apartment he wears pajamas and other relaxing clothes. He has glasses but also wears contacts at times.



BACKSTORY: He was born in Tokyo to a father who would constantly drink and a mother he hardly remembers. At age 4 his brother, Mike, was born to a different mother. While they were growing up, Kurai would take care of Mike. Mike's mother eventually left for America with Mike leaving Kurai alone. Once he heard Mike was back and going to Yamaku, he would follow him from time to time. Mike eventually ended up killing himself which caused Kurai to come to Yamaku to find out what exactly happened. That is where he met Saki, his first love. After a few weeks of being with her, he adopted his best friend. A puppy named Riku. Saki eventually passed. At this time he grew closer to Andrea, Deadpool's daughter. A few weeks after Saki passed, she left. Since the death of Saki and Andrea leaving, he has been depressed. He started drinking more. He still lives in the same apartment as before. He acquired legal guardianship of Mike’s children and have been raising them on his own. He has been with multiple women since Saki’s death but he can’t find the right woman. Riku, now much older, slower, and gray still lives with him.

PERSONALITY: Kurai, much like Mike, has a knack for women. He is constantly flirting with multiple women. He does this in hopes that he can find someone who comes close to Saki. He also drinks and smokes whenever he can. He is happy that he has Mike’s children because he never was able to have his own. He loves Hitomi, Mike's daughter, more than anything and always seeks to make her happy.
