[Open] The World at Large

I don't understand.

I look up at the stars above and I wonder... What does it all mean?

What's my plan? Where am I going? How am I going to get there?

Porcelina...? Porcelina?

No answer.

It has been that way since the start of summer. Or was it toward the end of spring? I can't quite remember...

I look out my window lot of time and I stare at the students passing by and I wonder...

"Did I want love? Did I need to know?"

...

I can feel the autumn setting in; the summer nights are getting cooler and cooler.

And on these particular nights, I sit cross-legged in the courtyard with my eyes closed, meditating on such thoughts.

Tonight was such a night and my thoughts were so loud, I couldn't hear my mouth. In frustration, I let loose a sigh.

As Mizo lay on the grass between a hedge and a tree,he looked up at the night sky taking in the stars. He'd found quite some time ago that he liked doing this, there were usually no people around at night. As his mind wandered some where around the constellation of Orion,he heard what he could only describe as a frustrated sigh. Mizo almost jumped out of his skin, he hadn't expected anyone else to be out here at night.
As he stood-up from his "Hiding place" so to speak.
"S-Sorry...I didn't k-know someone else was here. I-I'll go, s-sorry again."
he said.

My eyes open after hearing the sudden movement and timid voice that followed. I spot the apologetic youth and close my eyes once more, laying on my back. I softly suck my teeth.

"This property is for use to all students. I'm not ordering you to leave because I'm here. It's fine."

I pat the patch of grass next to me.

"Sit."

"Ummm...alright." Mizo said after just standing there for a second.
As he reluctantly took a spot on the grass next to the girl he said
"S-Sorry...it's just...just that...u-usually when people come out here at night...it seem like it's because they want to a-avoid people. I...I guess I just...uhh..kind of assumed. Sorry about that. Umm by the way, I'm Takameshi, Mizo."
