[Private] Confrontation

Following the small tea party in he tea room, Hawke dives out of the door into the corridor beyond, searching for his friend. He spots a shadow rounding the corner to his left, and limps towards it as quick as his injured legs can carry him. Pretty quickly, his heart begins to pound and pain shoots up his entire leg, causing Hawke's face to wince in pain. He approaches the corner and drags himself around it, resting on the wall once he does so, unable to cope with the pain.

"Satoshi!" He yells after the retreating figure, hoping to grab his attention.

"Hm?"

That was Hawke's voice.

I retreat back, still a little nervous from my first failure to mask my discontent with the past life I've led.

"Hawke?"

I look around the corner to find a fatigued Englishman.

"...My door comment didn't upset you that much, did it?"

I speak with a hint of sarcasm.

[I will punch you again.   ]

"Not at all." Hawke says in a deadpan tone, not in the mood to joke about.

"What happened back there? It's not like you to leave mid-conversation with no warning." He asks, face quickly morphing to a concerned expression.

My physique shifts in an off way. Like a nervous tick that never occurred in this plane of existence.

"I don't know. I just finished my tea so I left."

"Come on dude, treat me with some respect." Hawke says throwing one hand up in the air, "I know you well enough to know that you wouldn't talk Mizo through his troubled past without a better reason than 'I finished my tea'"." Hawke uses air quotes, and frowns at Satoshi, staring intently at his face. "What's up?"

"What~? A man can't choose to keep his mouth shut when he wants to?"

I barely leave any time for Tiberius to speak before continuing.

"-Nothing is really up much. Just thought I would head to class a little early to rest a little more before class."

"-How are you holding up? The tea wake you up enough?"

"Satoshi can't choose to keep his mouth shut when he wants to... because he doesn't usually want to." Hawke replies with a grin. Unsatisfied with the non-committal response from Satoshi, but mentally shrugs it off.

"I'm absolutely fine, tea certainly... woke" Disgusted. "me."

In my head, I do not address my success. However, I am mentally relieved in the change of subject.

I smirk.

"You look like the purple tea drained some manliness from you."

Hawke whips his hand up and points at Satoshi, "Do NOT question my manliness." He says, his frown returning.
