Tiberius Hawke

NAME: Tiberius Hawke. Usually referred to as either Hawk or by his Mother's petname, Tibby.

AGE: 17

CLASS: Junior

APPEARANCE: Tiberius stands at roughly 6'3". He is slim of build, but beneath the clothes it can easily be seen that his physical
prowess is nothing to be sniffed at; this is totally natural as in reality he does no more excerise than the usual teenager would. He has
handsome features that would make any girl swoon, with long, black hair (dyed religiously from his natural blonde) and a faint goatee. (It apparently makes him look 'manly')
When Tiberius is not sauntering around the campus he likes to dress black skinny jeans, one of his many souvenir T-shirts from the various concerts he has attended and usually a baggy shirt or zip-up hoodie over the top of said t-shirts.

BACKSTORY: Hawke comes from a rich, glamorous family deep in the south west of England, in 'sunny' Devon. His father made the family's wildest dreams come true when he 'made it' in his music career (which rubbed off well on him; he plays a whole host of instruments ranging from the bass guitar to the melodica) His mother is also a prolific author, writing many of the age's successful romance novels, and even a few TV shows in her prime.
As well of his musical talent, Tiberius was also academically solid, and surprised no-one when he came out of his GCSE year with 11 A*'s. Thankfully, this played out well in Tiberius' favour, as instead of being shunned as the nerd he was accepted widely and was even known to be quite the ladykiller (legend has it that even some of the more morally ambiguous staff at his school had their way with him) It was often joked that he got his skills form his mum's books, which were often on the naughty side.
Tiberius' world was turned upside-down however when he was involved with a gang attack, the target being his father. Tiberius doesn't like to talk about the incident, but the basic outline was a masked gang approached with various weapons, guns, knives and even planks with nails driven through them. The reason is currently unknown as to why the gang attacked his father, but Tiberius was severely injured in the attack; the thugs didn't want any witnesses. He was beaten unconscious by the man with the plank, suffering a great deal of blows to his head, but the real damage was caused when Tiberius was stabbed repeatedly in his hamstring. In the hours following the attack Tiberius and his father were rushed to hospital, but his father unfortunately died. Tiberius was rushed into surgery, where the doctors were able to limit the severe internal bleeding he sustained, but were unable to fully save his hamstring; leaving him with a pronounced limp and near-constant pain. The attack also played havoc with his memory; he is unable to remember the attack and now struggles to fully remember many details, which has a profound impact on his school life and can lead to awkward social situations.
With his father dead, and his mother struggling to cope, Tiberius was packed off to Japan to live with his grandparents. The main reason for his going there was the local school, Yamuku Academy, which would tailor to his mobility problems. Throughout his life Tiberius has visited Japan many times, specifically the town near Yamuku, thanks to his grandparents. His grandparents are Japanese, so he has known the language well from an early age. However, what with the town being at the bottom of a steep incline Tiberius decided that he would stay in the dormatories, to avoid the lengthy walk to and from the school on his less-than-capable leg. He returns to his grandparent's house on the weekends.
His mother elected to stay in England while the court case involving his Father's untimely demise plays out, as it is fairly complicated and gets more and more sinister by the minute. She still hasn't decided if she will follow her son to Japan.

PERSONALITY: Before the accident Tiberius was often referred to as the 'Gentle Giant', what with him being a naturally kind and caring person. He is a fiercely loyal friend, and a deeply romantic lover. He is also confident, and didn't let the accident stop him excelling. His memory, however is often a major source of frustration for him. His mental capabilities have been greatly lessened, and he struggled to remember his birthday in the days following the accident. He has been prescribed some experimental treatment since then however, and there has been a noticeable improvement, but there is still a fairly major problem. This has left him feeling hopeful for the future. Although not as much as he used to be, Hawke is a chirpy and friendly character, and is slowly coming more and more out of his shell. When he is with close friends, this is easily noticeable as social situations are where he excels.

How much of his mary sue ism actually stays? I mean, he struggles to remeber his birthday,but is he still a bomb aat school? MNaybe due cognitivity? Also,is he still a gentle always caring giant?

Those things arent really clear,and they do not fall into place. The borders are pretty washy.

"which has a profound impact on his school life" was meant in the sense of a work-related impact. Sorry it wasn't clear.
