(Open) Free day

Class has ended. Yuuji packs his thing and heads out to his room. the crowd of people make it harder for him to walk and not see being able to see two feet in front of him does not help. Where is the nearest wall? he thinks to himself. just turning the corner he bumps into someone losing his balance and falls.
"Ow...! I'm sorry."

Rii had spent the entire lesson staring off into space, not particularly paying attention to what had been going on - Something about Shakespeare? She couldn't recall. Moving out into the hallway after the lesson had ended, she soon noticed the scores and scores of students bustling to their dorms, or even next lessons. And thus, she knew she'd have to brave the sea of people. Being only petite in size, she squirmed her way through the roaring crowd in an attempt to find her way to some safe point - Turning a corner, she hoped for some sort of saviour from the crowd - and accidentally walked straight into someone coming the other way. Immediatly, she stumbled back a few steps, dropping er notebook and pen onto the floor in surprise.

Yuuji had not noticed he bumped into a girl he was too busy picking up the items that fell and himself
"Here are your...things."

Rii blinked in surprise, taking the notepad and pen from him as he retrieved them. Frowning lightly at herself for having been in such a rush, she quickly scrawled down some writing onto the notepad - on a clean page - and showed it to the unfamiliar male.

~ Thanks! - I wasn't looking where I was going. ~

huh? wait what?
Yuuji is dumbfounded. stumped in why she was writing instead of talking. Lets just start with an introduction
"I'm Yuuji Takahashi."

Rii nodded, and grinned - Writing something new on the page. Okay, she appreciated that this was probably unusual to anyone who hadn't met her previously - and thus, she added on a little explanation to save the awkward confusion.

~ M'names Rii ! S'cuse the notepad - Can't talk, mutism an' all that. ~

Okay that explains a lot then I have got to stop meeting people on accident
"Nice to meet you Rii." Yuuji bows slightly

Rii glanced at a watch on her wrist, making note of the time. Luckily, she didn't have another lesson until later - thus it made it easier to slack off a bit and relax. She'd only joined the school roughly a week ago - though hadn't actually socialised with many people as of yet. Well, no time to start like the present.

~ Were you on your way to a lesson? I shouldn't hold you up!~

He reads the paper and answers
"No I just finished a lesson now, I don't have another till later this evening I was just head to my room to relax. What about yourself?"

~Same, I don't have a lesson until the afternoon, I was trying to dodge my way back through the crowd towards the dorms.~

Rii explained, or whatever you could call it on paper.

After Reading Yuuji looks around and the crowd of students seem to have dispersed. The bell rings for the next lesson of the morning. His stomach begins to growl and he laugh a bit embarrassed
"Shall we both get something to eat?"

Rii sighed noiselessly in relief as the crowd dwindled down to perhaps the odd student late for class.

~Sure, Im starving!~

Yuuji nods and make a couple of hand gestures for Rii to follow

Having not been at the school long, Rii made an upmost effort in order to memorise the route they were taking as she followed beside Yuuji.

They both exit the building and enter the courtyard
"How long have you been here Rii?"

~Roughly a week~

She wrote, and shrugged. Rii hadn't really found it hard fitting in with the school, but getting around without getting lost was a completely different matter

One week...
"DO you know your way around here?"

~Quite well, I think~

She shrugged.

Yuuji nods as they reach the cafeteria building, he opens the door letting Rii in first
"You first."

Rii nodded a thankyou towards him, heading into the Cafeteria.

Entering the Cafeteria its nearly a ghost town. Only a few student,just add a tumbleweed and we have the perfect setting.
"Is there anything you specifically want Rii?"

Rii glanced around the near empty cafeteria and shrugged - she was only in the mood for something small.

~A sandwich will probably be enough.~

He nods and heads to the front to get the food. The sandwich for Rii and the plate for him that had rice beef and an assortment of vegetables.
"Where shall we sit?"
