[Private] Going to the Movies

Sayuri blushes a little as Yuuji's hand strays into her lap. Okay, maybe I asked for that...but even so...

"Thank you." Sayuri transports the rest of the ingredients over, and gets to work preparing the dish.

Yuuji steps back letting her pass to the counter. He waits behind her curious to see how she prepares the food.

Sayuri prepares the meal with practised precision, though every so often she has to remind herself to double the portions as she is cooking for two. Soon she is busily cooking away.

Yuuji takes a big whiff of the food before falling back and sits on the floor again.
Sure smells good

After a short while the meal is fully cooked, and Sayuri begins dishing it up. There is a bowl of rice each, a portion of cooked fish, and various assorted vegetables, all served properly in individual bowls. Sayuri serves Yuuji his meal, then sits down with hers, clasping her hands briefly. "Ittadakimasu."

Yuuji claps his hands together and does the same
"Ittadakimasu"
He takes his first bite its melts in his mouth. Savoring it, letting the taste of the food sink into his taste buds. He lets out a facial expression of satisfaction
Ah so good!

Sayuri tucks into her meal, seemingly oblivious to Yuuji's enjoyment of her cooking.

Yuuji finishes his meal 20 minutes later. He claps his hands once more.
"Thanks for the meal Motozaki."

"You are welcome."

Sayuri finishes the last of her meal and lays her utensils aside.

"Let me get that for you." Yuuji gets up and collects all the plates putting them on the counter

"Thank you." Sayuri smiles appreciatively at the gesture. She seems to feel that Yuuji is now helping her like this out of kindness and friendship, rather than because he thinks she can't do it herself due to her disability.

Yuuji sits back down
" I don't know how to put this in words but I'll try." He clears is throat Here goes nothing
"The food was ecstatic, wonderful can't describe how good it was."

Huh. It's not like I'm a master chef or anything, I just know the basics to cook for myself. But he really seems to like it... "So you enjoyed it?"

"Yes!" He answers without delay

"Thank you. I've never really cooked for anyone else before...I'm glad it went well."

Yuuji smiles big before looking out at the window Its getting late...
"I should get going. Thanks again for the food and I hope you had fun today."
He gets up and gives Motozaki a pat on the shoulder

"I did have fun today. See you, Takahashi-san."

"I'll see you around Motozaki-chan" He walks out the door
Yea I just did that...no regrets...
