Fresh air,

After touring the school, I decide to go to the courtyards for fresh air. Ah, the trees here are pretty, so is the grass,
"What a school,", I whisper to myself,
"This place truly is amazing, heh".
I sit under a tree, "I wonder if it's easy to make friends here?".

*Yuuji Casually walks with his crutches in the courtyard trying to find a bench to sit on*

"SO tired... screw it I'm just going to sit here."

*He falls on the grass closest to him and lets his crutches fall on top of him*

I look to the left as I hear a tiny thump on the grass,

"Hmm?"

I look at the man with a quizzcle expression, should I speak?

Well, no harm in it.

"Uh, hello there", I add a smile to it, don't wanna seem like an emotionless prick!

*He turns to where the voice was heard and looks up.*

Hello

*gives a faint smile*

"You okay there? You look a little out of breath."

I look at the crutches, then I feel a little stupid for asking if he's out of breath. Those would br tiring tonuse everyday.

*nodding his head*

Yea, I will be fine just just to rest for a bit. I'm Yuuji Takahashi.

*Reaches out one hand*

"Nice to meet you; I'm Asterick Kitomi,"

*goes to extend left arm but realises again that it's not there*

"Heh..."
*quickly extends the right hand*

"So are you new here?"

*He shakes your hand*

No, Its my third year here. You?

"First day here, actually. My uncle is the head nurse and he suggested this school after-" *shakes stump where left arm used to be* "This happened. It's actually sorta cool looking, hmm"

I lean back a little, "Are the classes hard here or is the material fairly easy?"

*looks at you arm for a moment then back at you and chuckles*

The classes are not hard at all. they are hard only if you make them out to be.

"Ah, then this shiuld be a good year. So if you don't mind me asking; what brought you here? To this school, I mean"

*He holds his right leg showing that his foot is gone*

Being born without a right leg has its faults.

*He laughs as if it does not seem to matter*

"Ah! So a birth defect, eh?", he grins, "At least it wasn't a traumatizing accident like some of the stories I'm told", sudders minorly at the thought,

"Was it hard growing up with that or did you adjust fairly easy?"

It did not bother me as much as it would most people. The occasional teasing here and there for having these crutches but that's all...

*He whispers something to himself*

damn parents...

I hear the whisper but decide it's not right to ask him his life story at the moment,

"I see, I got majorly made fun of. I think it was because I would forget I lost an arm and try to use it but would then realise it's not there. Lots of kids would try to do things that required my left arm, which is why I came here. I figured if I'm in a school full of kids with similar physical issues like me; there wouldn't be so much bullying",

I smile at the thought of starting new.

Well you have made a great choice in coming here. Everyone here has been friendly.

*laughs*

"That's good to know, nice change of scenery too. Must of took a lot of funding to build this school,"

I check the time and see that it's getting a little late.

"I think I better get to my dorm before it gets too dark. But it was really nice meeting you",

I get up,

"See you around!"

He waves with his stump but then corrects himself and waves with his right arm while walking to the dorms.

*waves back as you leave*
