[OPEN] Yamaku Academy - What Awaits Me?

Today was Haruka "Haru" Soratomei's very first day at Yamaku Academy. She was just now arriving at the school's courtyard, carrying a suitcase with her things in them. She had convinced the school to let her wear a boy's uniform. She couldn't wait to see the school and what it had to offer, as well as meet the other students. She really didn't mind attending a school for the physically disabled, as she really wasn't the kind to look down on people with those types of issues, and was glad to be able to attend. It may sound a bit morbid out loud, but she was interested in seeing what kinds of different physical challenges others were facing, so maybe she could help them out. At her old school, she was pretty much the only disabled person there. She was hoping she would make more friends here and she would be much happier. The first thing she did when she got there was find her dorm so that she can put her stuff down and stop carrying that heavy suitcase.

At about the same time Haruka walked through the gate, Sumiko walks out of the library. She looks out in to the courtyard and starts to head back to the dorms. She takes a quick glanes at the gate and see Haruka looking a bit lost. Sumiko musters up some courage and confronts Haruka
"H-Hello..."
Sumiko says in a light voice. she also notices Haruka's quite large suitcase and uniform but says nothing yet.

Haru stops for a second to look at Sumiko and smile a little. She says happily in a low tone of voice that could easily be mistaken for a male's voice
"Oh, hey there. I'm new to this school. My name is Soratomei Haru, what's yours?"

"Nakagawa, Sumiko." she bows
"N-Nice to meet you Haru." She tilts her head and smiles. "Welcome to Y-yamaku."

Haru, being an intelligent and observant person, could tell that Sumiko was a rather shy one from the way she was acting. She said "Thanks, it's nice to meet you too!" while smiling. She then asked "Hey, do you know where the dorms are?"

SUmiko clears her throat a nods
"Yes, The boys dorm is that way."
She points just behind her
"w-would you l-like an escort?"

She says "Thank you, but I don't think that'll be necessary. I can find my way around." It's true. She is very good at finding her way around.

"O-okay."
Sumiko bows once more before speaking again
"I-i'll see you around Soratomei-san."
Sumiko waves goodbye and heads back to her own room

After her encounter with Sumiko, Haru went to her new dorm room to unload her luggage and rest. She had a long day, so she deserved a bit of peace.
