[OPEN] Countdown

Toshiaki stood in the courtyard, wearing one of his many rock-band-print t-shirts and dark jeans, along with his favorite jacket.

As he didn't see anyone else around, he checked his phone to see if any of the others had responded to his message.

[Meet in the courtyard after class and we'll be on our way]

No responses yet. Then again, it had only been a few minutes since the last class of Saturday morning had ended.

He took a seat on the grassy hillside and waited for the others to arrive.

After a few more minutes' delay, I respond a response that hardly seems worth sending:

[ ok ]

And a few more minutes' delay allows me to exit the school, apparently not having bothered to change out of my uniform. I look around for Endo, find him without trouble, and begin walking over to him.

Mizo had just gotten back to his room to change when he noticed the message.
He typed a quick reply

⌠Just got back to my room to change.Be there soon.⌡

and hit send.
After changing into jeans and a green tee shirt that simply read "予約忍者", and he was on his way.

Toshi nodded to Sora as he came into view, followed by Mizo.

"Hey guys. Let's wait a few and see who else shows."

Kaim arrived in a Chinese T-shirt, some black jeans and his RAF greatcoat.
He checked his phone to check it was definitely the courtyard, which it turned out to be.
When he saw them he put his phone away and had his hands in his greatcoat pockets.
"Hello."

"Hey guys, how's it going." Mizo said in response to the others.

"Well, I guess that's everyone…"

That's rather disappointing.

"So, bus gets here in about twelve minutes. What shall we do today?"

I'd assumed Endo would have some idea of his own on what we should do.

Having no immediate ideas, I stay silent in wait to hear others'.

"We could catch a movie, or hit the mall. Any other ideas?"

Kaim was laid back with what they did for the day.
"I'll do whatever."

"That's about all I'd been able to think of too. Kinda early for movies though, so I guess the mall it is."

Toshiaki stood there silently, waiting for the bus to arrive – or to see if any of his other friends would show up.

(I'm not sure anyone has anything to say on the matter, unless you're waiting for possible new participants or something.

Toshiaki looked up as the familiar bus came into view over the hill.

"Guys' day out it is."

As the bus pulled to a stop, he stepped aboard and swiped his card, taking an empty seat near the back.

Mizo followed next, hobbling onto the bus and fumbling for his card. After finally managing to give it a swipe he took a seat near Toshi.
"This was a great idea, I've been needing some time away from the school. I guess I was just looking for an excuse."

I use a card from my pocket and sit one row in front of the others.

Kaim used a card and sit reasonably close to the others in the bus. Bus rides were OK, since you could watch the view outside.
