(open) Dorm-warming Party

"We...shall see...Hic- Veach..." He drinks another still standing but barley conscious

"I think you've had enough."
Hawke takes the bottle from Yuuji and sits him down in the corner with a bucket and a large bottle of water.
"Think I let him get ahead of himself there, eh Satoshi? Lets just make sure he's ok before we start..."

If Yuuji begins to hurl, I'm going to yell out "Boomer".

I make sure he's alright and not yet sick before continuing.

"The first song I'll sing while you sing backup. For House it'll be the opposite because it's both hard to play a mallet instrument while singing and the fact that my voice style is too melodic for a song like that."

I pull out a cajon drum from my bag I brought with me.

"I figured this would be perfect for Get A Job since it has a simpler and more defining drum beat for the song."

"Good idea, lets go."
Hawke waits for Satoshi to begin singing the hook and shapes his fingers into the familiar chords as he prepares to begin to play.

"I-I'll be fine guysh don...don't worry abou-" He begins to gag a little "About me"

"Hm."

My eyes shut and my grin reappears.

"My friend's got a girlfriend and he hates that bitch"
*Boom boom tap. Boom boom tap. Boom boom tap. Boom-boom boom tap.*
"He tells me ev-er-y day
He says man I really got to lose my chick in the worst kind of way."

The guitar starts. I really start enjoying myself.

*Boom boom tap-boom-boom-boom boom tap boom boom boom-boom-boom boom tap*
"She sits on 'er ass-he works his hands to the bone

Ya gotta say-sing it, Hawke!"

Together we recite the chorus.

My upper body naturally rocks back and fourth in my seat as we play.

So this is what a jam session is?

I could really get used to this...

"That was Beautiful!" He begins to cry in his drunkeness

As Hawke and Satoshi sing the final line of the song, a happiness consumes Hawke.
This kid has serious rhythm. A nice voice too. And impeccable music taste. I seriously need to lay down some tracks with him...
"That was fun. I haven't played that song since... well.... I don't know how long. I'm surprised I remember the chords to it; music seems to be the only fiddly thing I seem to remember. Listen, do you play bass at all? I wanna try out Rising Sun on my melodica; I only got it a few weeks ago and I love it. The bass line is SUPER easy. First song I ever learned y'know."
Looking over at Yuuji and grinning, he asks "You ok man? You seem a bit... overjoyed!" and proceeds to laugh.

Uh-oh, this is where the problem hits.

"Sorry, man. I can't even make a single note with a string instrument."

I'd rather learn how to make a note before a full song. Not to mention I usually will even make my own version of the keyboard solo in this song.

Suits my style more.

"Either way, I'd really like to play this part with someone. I've never been able to play House with anyone else like this."

An idea hits me.

"Hey you know, Yuri-chan plays guitar. Bet you any money she'd be able to play it."

"I'm not sure if she'd be as interested in the band you want to put together as I am but I bet she'd like to try this song with the three of us."

We're in the boys dorm at night time. Shoot.

Looking outside I continue.

"Eeh but for now I think we're alight."

"Can someone please eshcort me to my room? I think its time to call it a day... Hic!" He Starts to gag a bit more

"You guys stay here. I still want to play House Of The Rising Sun before I leave."

I set down my drum and walk over to Yuuji and put his arm around my shoulder before handing him back his bucket.

"Upsiedaisy."

Something assaults my nostrils.

*German* "Oh lord-the fuck did you throw up, man? A swine?"

"lets go Veach...Hic!"

(Christopher stands up & makes his way back to his dorm, shortly before bidding Hawke a good night.)

Aye, everyone is leaving. Oh well, I guess I should let him get to sleep.

"Hm, I give up. I'll have to come by some other time to finish this. Cook, do me a favor and set my bell kit in front of my door sense you bunk near me anyway."

I direct my attention back to Hawke.

*E* "Later, bredduh."

"Bye... Hawke Hic! Sorry..."

"Hey guys! Wait!" Hawke bids goodbye to Nine and hobbles as fast as he can after Satoshi and Yuuji.
Catching up to them, he begins to interrogate Satoshi about Yuri: "So your almost-girlfriend plays guitar huh? Nice! We should definitely get her on board. If she just wants to play guitar though that's call, way back when when I was young we replaced the piano with broken chords on a guitar and it sounded sweet, we could do that, I still enjoy the bass line."
Turning to Yuuji Hawke notices he looks in a bad way, and suggest we hurry up.

Almost-girlfriend? Haha that's intriguing.

"Sound's like an interesting idea. I'm going to need your help with it but I really want to try that."

We say our goodbyes and leave Hawke to get to sleep.

When dropping off Takahashi, I make sure to clean out his bucket of pure disgusting (Yes, he made that something like that exist) before helping him in bed and leaving to get myself ready.

Standing in the cool night air Hawke notices the agonising pain in his leg has returned. Realising he won't get any sleep tonight, Hawke strolls off into the night air in search of some other misadventure to keep him mind occupied and away from lingering thoughts of pain.

(Christopher patiently waits for Satoshi outside of his dorm.)

I arrive back to find Cook there.

"Heh, you could of just left it. I doubt anyone would take a bell kit."

My face grows a smile.

"But you have my thanks for it."

Do you ever watch the news? There are dumb criminals in the world.

"Hm I suppose."

A grin appears on my face before taking the instrument and going inside.
