(PRIVATE) This makes two.

(Chris's cellphone begins to vibrate. He waits for a time when Sumiko isn't watching him to respond to an incoming text from his sister. Once Sumiko has her back turned, Chris responds to the text he received from his sister with his own deeply concerned sounding message.) #Rachel, where have you been? Yuuji told me that you've been locked in your dorm room all day. Is this true?* (Chris looks back up at Sumiko and flashes her a big, goofy smile.) Are you enjoying yourself so far, Sumiko-chan?

She nods her head but hastily returns to her food.

Where would you like to go next?

"Lets go see the flamingos."
She leaves whats left of her food on the table and snuggles next to him
"Ready whenever you are."

(Chris finishes the rest of Sumiko's meal, and then leads her towards the flamingo exhibit. Upon spotting the effervescent flamingos, Chris openly voices his admiration for the large birds.) Such magnificent creatures, aren't they, Sumiko-chan? Which reminds me (Chris turns his head at Sumiko); what's your favorite color, Sumiko-chan?

She answers immediately
"Green! I love green."

I usually associate green with the fertility of life and raw nature. As for my favorite color, I can't get enough of the color purple. I have come to associate purple with royalty, femininity, and the allure of true mystery.

"That a nice color senapi."
She takes one more look at the flamingos then yawns
"I-Is there anything else you would like to see senpai?"

Are you tired or just bored, Sumiko-chan? (Immediately after asking that question, Chris receives a text from his sister. He wastes no time reading the text.)

*Brother, I'd like to talk to you in private. Meet on the school roof later tonight.*

(Chris confirms he will be at the designated location on time. He then turns his attention back to Sumiko.) How does a trip to the primate exhibit sound?

"I'm a bit tired..."
She looks at him text but does not bother with asking who is it
"Okay and then we head back?"

Sounds like a plan. (Chris smiles in hopes of warming instilling Sumiko with enough energy to make the commute to the gorilla exhibit, and later back to Yamaku. The two head off into the area of the primate exhibit where several Silverback gorillas reside. Once there, Chris stands behind a glass window pane, meant to separate the gorillas from the viewers, and begins pounding his chest. One of the male Silverback gorillas inside the enclosure does the same.) This one's sizing me up, Sumiko-chan.

She giggles
"I think that one is the alpha male. He trying to protect his territory Senpai don't provoke him."
Sumiko gets close to the glass frame putting her head against trying to get a closer look

(Just as Sumiko presses up against the glass pane, the same gorilla that Chris was provoking slams up against his side of the glass; scaring Sumiko. Chris embraces her as she steps away from the glass in fear.) That's enough of that.

She turns around and buries her face in his chest
"I-I told you not to p-provoke him..."
Sumiko hugs him as they both walk out of the exhibit and toward the exit

(Chris and Sumiko converse on the way back to Yamaku.) Did you have fun today, Sumiko-chan?

"Yes. Though you scaring me half to death was no fun..."
She pouts but stays close
Jeez Senapi If you were that good with animals I would't have gotten so scared..

Yeah, I do apologize for my display earlier. Given that I've worked with wolves in the past, I had a clear indication for how to assess the situation. (Once the couple arrive at the entry gates to Yamaku, Chris escorts Sumiko to her dorm room. Once there, Chris exchanges a few more heartfelt words with Sumiko.) Sorry we have to cut the night short, Sumiko, but I think it best you relax for the rest of the night. (Chris kisses Sumiko with the fullest passion.)

She kisses back and hugs him one more time
"I... love you senapi so much..."

And I love you more than I love anything else in this entire galaxy, Sumiko Nakagawa. (Chris kisses her once more. Once he releases, he bids her a good night.) Sleep well, Sumiko-chan. (Chris then makes his way to Yamaku's roof to confront his sister.)
