[O~P~E~N] A new arrival!

Touka shrugged. "Well, I have nothing better to do, I guess."

She paused. "I will warn you that I might not be the best of company, though."

Hm? Why not?

I rest my palm on her head.

"You seem like good company to me."

Touka sighed and squeezed the bridge of her nose between her finger and thumb. "I've got a headache starting. That's why. I might get a little... grumpy."

Ugh, I hate those.

Not just because they hurt but because I have no solution to them other than rest.

My voice is much more soft and caring, but still a generally happy one.

I give a chuckle that's half exhale.

"Hmhm..Need me to take you back to your dorm instead?"

Touka thought for a moment. "Nah. This one isn't as bad as the other ones, so I'll be fine," she replied.

I roll my head and look the other way.

"Oooooooooooookay~!"

I start to overdramatically walk that way for no reason what-so-ever.

After a bit of walking we are back in the school's courtyard.

"SOOOoooo, how do you like the school so far?"

Touka shrugged. "Truthfully, it's kind of boring here. I haven't met anyone other than you, that guy you were talking with, the nurse, and my homeroom teacher. Y'see, I used to live in the city," she explained. "While it's nice up here, it's gonna be hard to get used to all the peace and quiet."

I exhale a hum, remembering my family life.

"Hmmmm. I lived a comfortable life in the suburbs. Nice yard, nice area; the works. So it was a downgrade in stuff to do for me too."

"That all goes away once you meet more people, though."

"I'll introduce you to my friends later on. You'll like them, I promise." [Even though you already do, Ms.Yuujiromancer. ;P]

We pass through the gates and walk down the road.

As we pass a particular area my body tenses just a little and I pull my left sleeve down just a little more.

My face looks unbothered, though.

Touka notices. "Something wrong?" she asked. "You look tense..."

"Eh?"

"Oh, nothing. No worries."

A smile crosses my lips.

Touka looks doubtful, but drops the subject. "Okay then... So, how far are we going?" she asks.

I point over the guard rail to the town.

"Over there, passed that block, the road forks. On the corner of that fork is the place we're going."

"Cars rarely come on this road so it's fine to walk on by the way."

I glance at Touka's eyes just a little before retreating once more and speaking.

"Got any hobbies?"

"Nothing interesting," Touko replies. "Cooking, playing the violin and piano, reading... Nothing special. I'm kinda boring."

"Kidding me?"

My expression is of legit surprise.

"That's not boring at all!"

"If you ever want to play either of those instruments, the school's band club room lets students come by and use them for themselves if you like."

"You can make some tight stuff in that room if you're musically flexible enough."

"I go there almost every time school ends for a bit before heading home."

"My other hang around spots are the roof and a place students affectionately refer to as 'the tea room.'"

Touka shrugged. "I'll think about it," she replied.

We end up getting to the corner store. On the way I point out the park, the Shanghai, and other various places that are of good interest to Yamaku students.

Wasn't planning on buying anything but it was a nice walk, regardless.

"How's your headache doing," I ask as we start making our way back.

Touka had bought a few things; nothing big, but a few things nonetheless. She had placed her pill bottles she had been carrying in her pockets into one of her bags immediately upon leaving the store.

"Well, the headache is gone for now. My concern is for something else," she replied. Touka then fished through her pockets, eventually pulling out a flat inhaler, which she used. "And that worry is now gone," she said, putting the inhaler back in her pocket. She started up the mountain towards Yamaku.

After a couple of hours snooze, Hawke wakes up feeling much better, although he still had a headache. He had absolutely no reccolection of the past few days and he begins to get a bit worried. He grabs his phone and sends a text to Satoshi.

Toshi. Toshi. Toshi. Where have I been the past few days? I don't remember any of it and I think I might be a werewolf.

Shit-I hope he's kidding.

I wouldn't want to have to look after ANOTHER friggen werewolf...
[Yeah, long story short, the admins let people have things like that. Never knew why but instead of wondering I just made a character with a similar but more unique condition. ]

I text back,'Dude, you serious? You were drunk so, in preparation for that massive hangover you probably now have, I got you some meds. You also ran out of your magic memory meds so I picked those up from the nurse too.
You really don't remember my call to confirm my story to the nurse or anything at all?
Hell, you don't even remember your encounter with Fumisura? You seemed to take quite the liking to her.'

"Good to hear."

I just now notice that my disability has not acted up in her presence and am very grateful.

Mine may hurt less but, boy, is it more disruptive.

We end up arriving back at the dorms fairly early.

"Need any help settling in?"

It is in my nature to ask such a thing so it just came out.

Touka looked at the girls' dorms and sighed. "No... I brought too little to really unpack anything. To be fair, I don't have much to begin with. I could always buy something but... Hmm, maybe I should get a part-time job...?"

Touka continued down that train of thought for a bit before snapping out of it. "So, I take it we're parting ways here, or are you gonna follow me back anyways?" she asked, not waiting for an answer.

"If your parents don't send you money for things like that then yeah. There are a couple people here with jobs."

"Hmhm. No, I won't bother you that much."

"Plus I need to get Hawks his meds."

Touka turned and waved. "Then I guess this is goodbye for now. See you around!" she called out, leaving Satoshi behind.

My responce quieter than a normal way to say goodbye. As if I were talking to myself.

"Arrivederci."

I brush the hair out of my face and take my leave.

Touka left for her dorm room. Once there, she started unpacking what little she had, followed by taking her medicine. She quickly grew bored, however, and began pacing the room.

It did not take long for Touka to leave her room. She wanted to explore a bit; she was in a new place, so she should get around and learn the layout, right? Plus, it wouldn't hurt for her to meet some people. After all, she had no idea what the residents of Yamaku were like.

Fumiwhoha? No idea who that is. And me? Hungover? Good joke! they don't call me iron-liver for nothing.... Well, if they did they wouldn't But thanks for the thought, and those memory meds will help, I seem to have run out....

Hawke sits up in his bed and looks out of the window to see a girl he didn't recognise leaving the girl's dorm. He then picks up a bottle of water and heads outside to get some fresh air, not without forgetting to put some aftershave on.

He reaches the outside and limps up to the girl.

"Hi there! I don't believe we've met. I'm Tiberius Hawke." He says, and sticks out a hand with a smile.
