<Wait, what room mate? I hope she isn't annoying>
"I think she was out."

"She was not in the room? ah well."
Yuuji takes out the small container he got from the nurse earlier and opens it
Hope he was right and it ease the pain on my leg

<Those are probably pain meds>
"What are those?"
<why do I keep blurting things out?>
Stumbling over her words she manages to recover slightly.
"That is, ... if you don't mind. Telling me that is."

"They are pain killers for my leg."
Yuuji takes on out and eats it the sour look on his face
God, that why people drink these with water...
He lets out a few coughs, pounding his chest

"You haven't had much experience doing that have you?"
<I know I have>

"N-*Cough* nope."
He pounds his chest a few more times as they reach the entrance to the cafeteria
"After you." He says opening the door

Trying to hide a wince as the door opens, Chiharu quickly walks through the door and tries to find something for Yuuji to drink.
"Thanks"
After getting inside, she reaches into her pocket to make sure she has some money.
<well, I guess I don't>
Resuming her constant tone despite her surrounding she turns to yuuji and asks, "Hey I forgot my money in my bag, could you spot me just this once. I promise I'll pay you back."

Yuuji walks in not seeing many people around
"No need to pay me back Chiharu."
He gets out his wallet and takes out four 100 yen coins and hand two to Chiharu
"Get what you want and if you need more just let me know okay?"

A little shocked, and a tad flustered she replies, "Oh, thanks. I appreciate it."
<Is this what flirting is?>
She looks back for a moment
<He's probably just being nice>

After ordering Chiharu waits for yuuji to do the same.
"I can grab that for you, the least I can do"
She said, as she motions toward his tray.

"No, no it's fine I got this...."
He holds his crutches on one hand and food on the other. Doing short hops, making his way to Chiharu
"Where do you want to sit?"

"Oh, okay.. anywhere really."
After a lingering gaze at yuuji, she walks over to the nearest table and sits down. Soon after continuing to talk.
"I bet it's much busier for lunch."

Yuuji takes the seat next to her
"Yea, there would be a lot of chatter in this room."
He chuckles and points at a certain table
"Over there is where me and most of my friends eat.Crazy hi jinks have happened there"

"Hi jinks?"
<is that some kind of inside joke? Or maybe just the vernacular>

"You know more of how do the Americans say it 'boys being boys'?"
He smiles

"Heh, So you do know how to have fun, maybe you're just impervious to my jokes."
After saying that, she slowly examines and eats the food in front of her.
<or maybe he was just nervous around me, do I have that effect on people?>

Yuuji claps his hands saying
"Itadakimasu."
And begins eating

Chiharu again tries to hide a slight wince with a response to his comment.
"You're welcome, I guess"
<why is he thanking me? He's paying for it>

He shollow what food he has his mouth and asks
"what do you want to drink Chiharu?"

"Oh i'm fine, but you should probably get something if you plan on taking any more of those meds."
<Although I could use something to wash this stuff down, it's pretty salty>
"Actually, do they by chance have grape soda?"
Trying to put it into as cute of a tone as she could muster, however not so succesfully.

"Alright, one grape soda for you. I'll be back
He slowly hops to the front forgetting his crutches

Quickly noticing the lack of a *click* in yuuji's step, Chiharu hastely puts her food down and grabs his clutches. Easily catching up with yuuji, she lets out a matter of fact toned, "You're going to shake up the soda going without these, and I don't know about you but I don't want to clean grape soda off of everything."
<I hope he isn't really sensitive about his condition, because this friendship could end right here. And I was starting to like him a little>

"Ah thank you Chiharu I though I was forgetting something."
He smiles and happily takes his crutches back and makes his way to the front

<I'm already up, might as well go with him>
While walk with him, she revives an old question in her mind.
"So why did you assume I have a room mate. I saw a couple empty rooms in the dorms"
<Maybe there's a crowding of boys here. I heard the male population in japan is on the rise>

"Everyone in school has a roommate right now. even I do. Luckily i was pair with a friend instead of someone random
Yuuji orders the two sodas
If I tell her she would just be frightened

As she grabs her soda and walks back to the table, she says, "Well unless you're hiding something from me, I'm not as lucky"
