*Thoughts: This coffe is FUCKING disgusting, there no way in hell they let teachers drink this or do they? am i getting poisoned? i have to take a stance and tell our principal to fuck off sincerely.

Anyway, i wonder if masato is comming to his sense, this guy gives me the fucking creeps*

Masato enters the teacher's lounge and looks around. "Hmm, empty as always, I see..." passes through his mind when he notices there's only one other teacher inside. It doesn't take him long to recognize the man as Shinto Sequenze, who kept him company during the school dance.

'Ah, Shinto-sensei, good morning' he greets him while approaching the coffee machine, then pours himself a cup. 'I didn't expect to see you here. Really, I don't know how a man of your stature can bring himself to even taste this disgusting drink...'

well thats kinda the problem with it. its disgusting shit and i have lessons in an hour. I cant really leave, and i cant really be arsed to do so either.


And you? what are you doing here? Isnt the Inn a better place with better coffee? or do you have lessons too?

'Yes, thankfully, my coffee at home is far superior than this... thing' Masato shakes his cup a bit, utterly convinced that there's something swimming in it. 'I may not be a particularly rich man, but coffee is one of the things I spare no expense for. It's the only thing that keeps me going these days...'

I am not going to question that. So, would you sign a teachers petition for real coffee? its maybe free but this school takes so much cash , not giving us atleast mediocre coffe is a crime * he smiles*

Pf well. you can say that. But well, the staff isnt that often here anymore. To be quiet honest,with this coffee,i can understand why. The Shanghai downtown sells better coffee for a lesser expanse.

Look around at this room,the room is bald, it sucks, and no matter how you look at it,there is NO fucking enjoyment in this room, it makes you hate your teacher life even more,does it noT?

Masato chuckles slightly. 'I don't notice it exactly because I'm a scientist. Compared to my last few laboratories, these rooms look clean and comfortable. In the world of scientific research, unless you make it big, you'll be forever stuck working in a lab that resembles a basement more than it does a sterile testing environment... It's one of the sad truths about my profession'

I see, so no matter how you take it, being a scientist makes even the worst places feel good eh?

'I suppose that depends on what you're researching. If your inventions can... benefit people in some way, if you know they'll make the world a much better place - cybernetics, enhancements, commodities for those who need them most - then that can be all the motivation you need to make even the worst work conditions bearable. But... most scientists aren't so lucky. Most of us are just stuck working on... useless things that only hinder progress as opposed to pursue it, cheap knock-offs that will be outdated and off the market in two years, or even worse... inventions that will harm people as opposed to help them'

as someone who has great power,i do not understand how people detest having it. But again,only my opponion.

Things like "oppression", "control" and "servitude"... They aren't really power, only temporary illusions, just as easily lost as they are gained. No, what I used to strife for during my youth was... 1 Of them on actual school grounds. The matter of fact that we lost them in this town doesnt make yours more valid. its scarry no matter how you look at it.

'I'm only trying to do what's best for the students' Masato nods. 'But ultimately, we both need to agree that it's out of our hands. Still, we can't just wait for the next victim to get kidnapped before we start acting, and we also can't allow ourselves to interfere with the students' privacy'

there is a reason countrys with freedom, like america, tend to have more criminal cases, than lets say, japan.

In other words, i completly disagree . But its okay that you dont understand it, you are not in charge of a big yakuza family. Hence,you do not comprehend how important watching and securing something can be. It seems abstruct at first,yet, it isnt if you think about the larger picture.
