[Open] A lonely lunch

"I wish I knew what you were feeling Chiharu"
She sighs
"I can't understand because I'm already in relationship."

"Oh?" she said with that inquisitive tilt and smirk she had earlier, trying to say 'with whom?' without verbalizing it.
<I hope this isn't a touchy subject>

"I wont say his name but me and him are going out... but thing have been not in my favor lately."
Her voice starts to get shaky

<Why won't she say who it is? Oh, shit. Is she going out with yuuji? That would explain her surprise>
Chiharu takes a deep breath to say in a concerned tone, "Is there some way I can help?"

"I don't think there is Chiharu... My situation is weird to say the least."
She sighs again, lifting her knees up to her chest burying her face in them
"He would protect me from anything..."
At this point she lets her emotions take over

Chiharu scoots a tad closer and puts her right arm around sumiko and slowly massages her shoulder with her left.
<should I say something, what would I say? I probably shouldn't say anything>

She rest her head on Chiharu's shoulder as tears start to form in her eyes
"W-why did he have to leave...? Right now I could be with him laughing, smiling."
She moves in closer touching her arm
"Chirs... where are you...?"

Chiharu contnues to do nothing more than be there. That is until the school bells rang, causing her to jump slightly.
"Hey, c'mon. I can walk you to your class."

Sumiko nods as a few tears roll down her cheeks. She pulls down her hood more so it covers her eyes then wipes her tears
"Thank you Chiharu."
She promptly gets up and begins walking, slowly

Before walking towards the crowd, Chiharu stops in front of sumiko, and looks back towards her to say, "Hey, Sumiko...

Sumiko hold her hand to her, face feeling dizzy. She sways back and forth trying to keep her balance but stop hearing Chiharu's words
"Y-yes...?"
She keep her head lowered

"Hey, just..."
She takes her index finger, and tenderly pulls sumiko's chin up to look her in the eye.
"Hang in there okay?"

She nods not saying a word. Her breathing get heavy and quickens in a matter of moments; she begins swaying to the left before falling and fainting on the walkway.

<oh shit, what happened!?!?>
Chiharu hastely bends over and, with all the strength she could muster, picks up sumiko and starts hobbling as fast as she could while yelling to the crowd she was about to enter, "Make way!"
