[Private] Cook's Corner.

"Made wh- do you mean the dangos?"
She looks at the basket slowing filling up
"We are making this from scratch aren't we...."

<Obviously...>
Chiharu furrows her brow for but a second before replying in a matter-of-fact tone.
"If we weren't, there wouldn't be any need for teaching. All those prepackaged things have instructions after all"

Sumko thinks for a moment while getting another 'ingredient'
"What are dangos made of exactly?"

Chiharu lets out a smirk while her eyes seem to relax.
"So, you're answer is no, you haven't made dangos from scratch."
She closes her eyes for a second while taking in a noticeable breath before continuing with an inkling of a smile.
"It's alright.. Like I said before, they're basically Shiratamako, Silken tofu, and sugar. The only thing else we would need would be for the sauce, and we can use just about whatever we want for that."

"What kind of sauce would you recommend we make?"
She says picking up some soy sauce and cornstarch
"it would be great if we pulled out the stops and made it great."

Chiharu stops and inspects everything they have in the basket already. Seeming satisfied with its contents, she says, "Well I usually make a mitarashi sauce, and that's pretty good. Assuming you have sugar at home, I think we're set."

"I do I just need to get a few things for myself. Here Chiharu"
She hands Chiharu about 3000 yen
"This should be more then enough to pay for the ingredients we got. Pay for it and I'll meet you up front. Okay?"

"Why not just get everything together?"
She seems slightly confused.

"I-I ummm I-It's kinda e-embarrassing...."
She fidgets a bit looking down a the ground. Sumiko pulls her hood up hiding her flustered face

Chiharu tilts her head forward and to the side sligtly as she asks in a concerned tone, "Is there something wrong?"

"I'llmeetyouupfront!"
Sumiko dashes off to the back of the store and dropping the basket in the process

Thoroughly surprised by sumiko's actions, chiharu takes a moment to decide whether or not to obey her wish or to pursue the matter further.

<Why would she be so reluctant to tell me what is going on? She has seemed alright talking to me before... Maybe she's on her period, but I'm a girl so.. Or it could be something about her arm, maybe she thinks I don't know about that yet. She hasn't said anything to me, but I couldn't help but notice when I took her to the nurses office. I really don't know...>

After taking a quick look around, chiharu decides to grab the basket, slowly follow sumiko, and try to find her.

SUmiko stops at the other end of the store thinking she had 'lost' Chiharu. taking a few deep breaths, she relaxes herself and heads down the aisle
"Where is it?" She mumbled to herself. Reaching the end of the aisle she finds the tampons and slightly nods her head
Found them. N-Now... She looked up front not seeing Chiharu in her line of sight....

Seeing the products on the shelf, chiharu easily figures out what sumiko was doing here. She speaks out in a soft tone yet without much warning.
"I'd have understood.. I'm a girl too y'know."
She takes a few steps closer before continuing.
"Now I won't claim to know what is and isn't embarassing, I've never been very good at that whole thing, but I can tell you that I can help you."

Sumiko freezes in place. Her heats skipping a beat hearing Chiharu's voice out of no where. She says nothing for a few moments beofre speaking
"I-It's not very lady like to speak of such things. T-that's what I was taught..."
Sumiko's back still turned to Chiharu keeping her red,flustered face hidden.

Chiharu lets out a deep breath while pressing her lips together before saying, "How'bout this. You wait here a moment while I check this stuff out and take Izumi outside, then when the coast is clear, you can take care of your business without worrying about him seeing. Sound good?"
She goes to her side and peaks around to look for a response.

"Okay..."
Sumiko relaxes a bit more before turning around and hugging Chiahru
"Thank you."

<Additional hugs achieved!!!>
Chiharu sets the basket down to be able to give sumiko a full hug as she responds with, "Anytime.."

After sufficient hugging had occured, Chiharu took the basket and began to make her way towards the front. After checking out, she addressed Izumi, and right before she started talking her eyes darted to the left (Her right) for a split second.

"Sumiko went to the bathroom, it might be a minute. But hey, do you mind if we wait outside, the air in here smells kinda weird."

"I'd much rather be outside than in right now as well. It smells quite unclean in here." He smiles in accordance and walks over toward the door with a moderate pace. He then holds open the door for Chiharu to walk out of. He says nothing as he does so, just holds the door open.

She nods in appreciation as she walks by and then takes a few steps forward to the edge of the sidewalk. She didn't turn her head or raise her voice as she began speaking.
"I'm surprised you noticed it too.. Heh, I guess I'm just so used to being the only one who is bothered by stuff like that."

"I've had to rely on my senses more often than not with how long I spent out in the wilderness at times. I am almost certain I use four of my five senses to at least an above-average level. It became sensitive over time." He states this as he closed the door and followed Chiharu upon the sidewalk. His countenance restored to pleasant joviality as he once again is outside.

Standing at the edge of the sidewalk, facing the rest of the town, Chiharu looks to Izumi at her side.
"What about touch?" She says while taking his hand in her own.

After they Both Chiharu and Inaba head outside Sumiko rushes into the bathroom to do her business. once done she pays for the item and heads for the door hearing Chiahru's voice. Sumiko steps outside quietly and looks at both of them as she says nothing.

Izumi ponders this a moment as a faint blush which seemed almost inevitable appeared on his face. Try as he might, it is visible for any and all to see. "Especially so, I can feel the warmth of your hand, the ever so light and delicate weight of it. Your skin is as fair as the most exquisite silk. I can feel the contours of the lines on your hand and how comfortable it all feels. They suit how nice you've been to me so far, this is a comfortable feeling, almost inducing wonderful drowsiness." Izumi smiled softly toward her as he turned, the intent of the statement served more to flatter even if that is exactly how he felt as her hand laid in his. He forgot for once to withhold his actual feelings even in inference as he stated this. His earlier worries were all but dwindled now as he looked back toward the sun and spoke once more, in a warm tone.

"I suppose I'll admit to what I stated under my breath earlier whilst I still can. When I said our current relationship wasn't what Sumiko was inferring I muttered that I would however had liked that to had been the case. You're for what I've known about so far, a very pleasant and intelligent person to be around. I won't lie and say if I ever had the opportunity to further our current standing that I wouldn't. I, perhaps very naively very much would. I just thought that would have been uttered too soon and stifled the thought." Izumi looks away for a second sheepishly now that he finally caught up to what he admitted to.

Chiharu is intensely absorbed in Izumi's words and her own swirling thoughts on the matter, all the while she is simply looking up at him with an innocent stare, not reacting to his words right away. However, a few seconds into silence, all intensity in her face seemed to dissolve in a wave as she lets out a soft smile and a short breath while she began to blush slightly as well.
"I'm glad you said that.. And that I'm not the only one who feels that way."
